    Grand Touring vs Touring Features

Agree. The only way to rationalize it is the range. Even if you added drive drive pro, the sound system, the glass roof, the larger wheels, and the paint, you would still be at least $25k below the GT.

    Grand Touring vs Touring Features

You do save 44k, so spending $800 on paint is not going to kill you.

Top Gear's review of Lucid Air

I agree. I mean if you bought the car based purely on these reviews, you would be caught off guard be features that are missing or do not work. Reviewing a luxury car and not commenting on the fact that it doesn't have a fully functional nav, streaming, highway auto steering, or smartphone...

    Lucid Air vs. Mercedes EQS

I think Motorttend has a conflict of interest. They make some trivial complaint about use of plastics in the Mercedes, and yet they make no mention of the plethora of missing or malfunctioning basic functionality in the Lucid which has been well documented by early owners on this forum. The...

    Tom Moloughney Range Test

The Lucid seems like a luxury car. They use Aston Martin Leather and generally they have considered the covering of every surface to deliver a luxury experience. They also have a broad set of features like massage seats, window shades, a high end sound system, Apple CarPlay (in theory), etc...

    Tom Moloughney Range Test

I have a 2021 Model Y. Have you owned a 2020 or newer Mercedes or BMW with all of the optional equipment? There is no comparison in terms of build quality, features, tech or luxury. The only edge the Model S has is the powertrain.

    Tom Moloughney Range Test

That's because they are morons. I own a Tesla, and I think their cars a junk. It's like driving a golf cart. Cool at first, until you realize it is missing most of the features you expect in a car. Those morons think their car is the pinnacle of luxury, technology and range. Because they...

Santa Cruz interior after 10 minutes.

This looks like an early prototype. It is missing the wood trim. The dash is different to the final product.

This is the edmunds top 10. Haven't tested Lucid yet. I am curious if they outperform or underperform EPA.

    Tom Moloughney Range Test

The flight from new jersey to london is 7.5 hours. Even if we round it down, it is a massive range at 70mph.

    Lucid production

i wish you could pick more than one color and have them produce whichever is built first. I would be good with either Red or Quantum Gray

    Discussion with Lucid

Good to hear they are reaching out and taking ownership. I hope they can move quickly on the things which should be standard though. ADAS, Carplay, working keys and locks.

    Anyone Lucid near Austin?

Yes closest I can get on the GT is the Santa Cruz which is similar but it has the brown stitching from the Tahoe, and the walnut wood. I like that one too.

    Anyone Lucid near Austin?

That interior is a great combination for that color. Although I have to say the light carpets really trouble me. I may just go with the Tahoe.

    Alexa Behaving Badly

It's interesting it struggles because it is well established among several auto OEMs. I rented a BMW in Florida over the holidays and it worked perfectly in that car. https://www.amazon.com/alexa-auto/b?ie=UTF8&node=17744356011
