How is creep mode supposed to work?

I'm having a little trouble understanding what's going on here, as I'm also on 2.0.18 and I find it works exactly as bobofat said. Some points: I think there might be some confusion in this thread when people say they "enable" creep (by turning it on in the settings) vs. "activate" creep (by...

How is creep mode supposed to work?

Yep, exactly, in creep mode I ride the break which allows me to inch forward slowly and safely in my tight garage. Hold/Regen doesn't stop the car.

MUCH improved side camera display in 2.0.18 software

I know I'm late to the party commenting about 2.0.18 improvements, but the speed with which the side camera displays show up when turning on a turn signal is a big deal for me. Previously, there was nearly a second delay between flipping on the turn signal and when the side camera view would...

ALL TEXAS OWNERS (or future owners) please post on this thread

For anyone considering doing any "wrap" work (i.e. PPF, ceramic coating or window tinting) in Austin, I just got my AGT back from Xpel Austin and I'm really happy with the work they did. So shiny! They also have a lot of beautiful cars that they were working on so they seem quite popular...

How is creep mode supposed to work?

My parking situation is similar to maractwin, and I have now figured out the right way to use creep mode. I very lightly tap the accelerator - that enables creep mode, so from then on I just use the brake to control movement. I have to pull in my mirrors to get it through the garage door, so I...

ALL TEXAS OWNERS (or future owners) please post on this thread

Can anyone in the Austin/Central TX area recommend an electrician for home charger installation? The Lucid Home Charger is now for sale on the Lucid website, https://store.lucidmotors.com/lucid-connected-home-charging-station/, and Austin Energy will rebate home charger installation costs 50% up...

Can I just say how much I love the sound engineer who designed all the little sounds in this car

So glad I saw this thread. I agree, I think the sounds are excellent and just highlight how the design of the interior is chef's kiss in my opinion. And I'll say that I love the turn signal sounds. They're pleasant with a nice "bell" sound, for lack of a better description, without the...

Emergency brake, pedestrian brake, other safety features?

I had the cross traffic alert and brake go off and was really impressed with it. May be a bit tricky to explain, but I was in the last parking spot (I mean furthest to the right) in my row, and the entrance way to the lot was directly behind my spot - to pull into my spot I literally just went...

    Chargepoint public chargers?

Yeah, the Chargepoint public chargers that you can get with the Austin Energy $50-per-year deal are all L2 chargers. When charging at 6 KW I get about 20 miles of range an hour. There are some chargers where I park my car for work, and even though I'm only there about 2 days a week that actually...

Just got your Air? Consider buying this stuff

Since there are a lot of posts about floor mats in this thread, will just highlight that Lucid now has all weather mats available in their store, https://store.lucidmotors.com/all-weather-floor-mats-black/, says shipping 11/1

Curious, someone in this thread get the PPF with satin finish on their Lucid in Austin? I called up Xpel Austin, they said that they were doing a PPF job with that satin finish on another quantum gray Lucid. I know that matte look can be polarizing but I think it could look absolutely fantastic...

Just got your Air? Consider buying this stuff

Curious, has anyone else purchased the K&H Pet Vehicle Door Protection mentioned above? It stays in place by having a tab that inserts in the window slot, but after trying it I was worried this would damage the rear window screens in the Lucid. Just want to see if I'm missing something...

Headlight positioning - any info from v2 beta testers?

Was happy to see this in the 2.0 release announcement: > Automatic headlight leveling with sensor-based adjustments for height and vehicle angle in relation to the ground. I've always felt that the headlights on my Lucid are positioned a little too high - the first night I drove the car home I...

    SW 2.0

Wow, thanks @borski for posting your video! I know a lot of folks have been asking about specific features with the update, but my far the most important thing for me was overall stability and performance of the UI elements. In my opinion, new individual features are much more appreciated (and...

ALL TEXAS OWNERS (or future owners) please post on this thread

Woops, thanks very much for reposting your estimate, I just missed it when I skimmed the thread. Very useful info, especially how it's broken down so I can get a good sense of how much PPF for individual sections would cost.

    Give Kudos to Lucid

This is a bit random, but I just wanted to give kudos and thanks to the engineers, designers, factory workers and everyone else involved in creating this fantastic vehicle! We took delivery of our Air GT a week and a half ago, so obviously can't comment on its reliability, and the car is...

ALL TEXAS OWNERS (or future owners) please post on this thread

For the number of folks that have commented on getting PPF and ceramic applied to their Lucid, could you share how much it cost? Never had that done on one of my cars before, but after doing some research it seems like it's worth it - I love the look of our Lucid and would like to keep it...

ALL TEXAS OWNERS (or future owners) please post on this thread

Had the Air GT delivered to Austin, and no there wasn't an extra charge. The delivery process was the one thing that was a bit sketchy, though my partner was the one who talked to Lucid about the details so I'm not sure it there was just some confusion about how it would be delivered. The truck...

Question to Lucid owners; has your opinion on range anxiety changed after owning the Lucid Air?

Previously I owned a Chevy Volt - I love that car and a big reason is because it completely eliminated range anxiety. During "normal" days, I drive about 30 miles, which is perfect for the Volt, because its electric range is ~40 miles. But if I completely ran out of battery, no big deal, because...

How is creep mode supposed to work?

Yes, it's configured for roll. But it's still the case that if I come to a complete stop, then take my foot off the brake, I don't move at all if I'm on a flat surface. To "activate" creep I need to tap the accelerator, which IMO kinda defeats the purpose.
