    Gravity Delivery Discussion

If the name is the car is 'Gravity' - the plural is 'Gravitys'. You are literally adding the 's' or 'es' to the name. If you use 'Gravities', it is no longer a 'Gravity'. At least that is my weird logic.

Okay, I still choose the Air, but…

    $353.11 for 6 months - 2017 Ford F250 Diesel. 2025 Lucid Gravity for 6 months - increase $446.62. Total is $799.73 for 6 months - basically $1800 for the year.

Okay, I still choose the Air, but…

I just have one data point to add. I already did the insurance quote from USAA. I am looking at a little over $700/6 months for full coverage insurance (Utah). My mother-in-law has insurance from State Farm and pays $1800/6 months in socal for her Tesla 3.

Okay, I still choose the Air, but…

New 'Lost in Space' had me lost. I watched almost 2 seasons and then was approaching a lost status. Entertaining tho. Truth is I am not really a TV person unlike my wife.

    Dwindling Air

Have you noticed there was only one AGT left in inventory. Also, the Touring is also getting low. Nice to see Lucid is selling their inventories. 'tis all.

Okay, I still choose the Air, but…

I used to drive Skyline Drive in my first car - 1969 Datsun Roadster. Yeah, very fun road.

    Gravity Owner AMA - 4/5/25, 12PM-2PM PT

Not to be 'that' guy... My wife has had one other car and never used the foot swipe feature. Her current car also has that feature but you need to have the fob with you. Oh yeah, she never uses that feature on this car either (2024 Subaru Outback). Some features are important to most and not for...

    SiriusXM requires frequent reboots: normal?

I will avoid SiriusXM and just run my Tidal. I live in the mountains and reception is spotty at best. I have online and offline mode. Simple.

Does the glass roof allow 'too much sun'? Does it a good job of reducing or elimination UV/IR - keeping the tanning and temps down in cabin?

If they had an option on the Dream edition to have an aluminum roof, I would be down to switch - as long as it did not cost more.

How Did You First Become Aware of Lucid?

Jan 26, 2015 - got a text from my cousin who had an interview with a start-up and was asking me for advice. He joined Atieva. He showed me a Golf with 4 people that spun its tires all the way down the block. The name changed to Lucid. I then attended their Air showing in Newport Beach (2017)...

What topic are you most interested in for our next AMA?

This would be ideal. Using EPA sounds like a place-card holder until a better system is devised. Above sounds just about perfect.

    Insurance

Had to look up insurance lately. I have USAA. Going from my 2017 Ford F250 to the Gravity is $406.63 more per 6 months (~$800/ 6 months). Not bad. My mother-in-law with a Model 3 in socal is $1,800 per 6 months.

Totally agree Daryl. I am actually not retiring for another 5-6 years to keep up my other expensive hobbies fed.
