    Dust in the interior

Yes, the interior is very tight, although well-ventilated. Another benefit that I have noticed is that after 16k miles there is very little if any windshield pitting from road dust or stone chips, which I attribute to the aerodynamics of the Air.

    What's the Real Agenda?

The Netflix documentary on Yogi is a must-watch. He was and is the most underrated player to have played the game.

    Motor's noise

I love the front motor whine. It is intentional, not a flaw. There are extensive posts on the topic on this forum from well over a year ago.

    What's the Real Agenda?

Yes to all your points and as I noted, his hubris pervades his videos. His hubris and gratuitous opinion are annoying to me.

EV Newb with GT on order and High Anxiety 😬

One drive will tell you all you need to know. I also got Cosmos Silver with Santa Cruz. I loved my 991 Turbo S on the track and for cruising. I think that despite the weight of the AGT you will enjoy it in the hill country and on mountain roads nearly as much as your Turbo S.

    What's the Real Agenda?

Life is too short to tolerate hubris and that is what Monroe radiates. And, yes, he only seeks clicks with his YT posts.

Driving Experience During Cold Spell In New York

Sorry about the OP's experience. I must live a charmed life. I drove from NH to CO in mid-March last year (AGT with 19" wheels with winter compound tires) when the OTA averaged 32 degrees (and a few snow storms) with no charging problems at EA locations. Got only 3.3 miles/kWh on that trip. I...

Motor Trend Video - Plaid vs Sapphire

The Sapphire is masterfully engineered. Not that many will track it but it would be good to know its lap time at Nurburgring, especially versus the Taycan top-end model.

    2024 Wishlist Top 10 Video!

Thank you Bobby. Comprehensive and well done. I especially liked your admonition at the end for Lucid’s engineers to lead in software development and implementation.

Americans and their SUVs: encounter with a Rivian driver.

Look Cos, people are very subjective about cars, and trucks, and if the market demands enormous trucks for local grocery shopping or Home Depot runs that is what manufacturers will make. Although true throughout the country, in Colorado there are many double-wide diesels with extremely loud...

    FEATURE OTA Update 2.1.52

Thank you, Lucid! The tire swapping, side mirror, and CarPlay changes are most welcome. The absence of a side mirror tilt-down feature always perplexed me, as it is standard on every other car that I have owned for years and of course useful to avoid curbing wheels. The tire-swapping option is...

I made a video about range.

For certain. I took a ~$40,000 hit when I traded my 2015 991 Turbo S that listed at about $205k a few years later. My biggest reservation about Taycan, aside from its range was that it basically had the interior of a 911 in terms of size in the front and limited storage space.

I made a video about range.

Thank you, Bobby. You are an ambassador of clarity. Everyone should see your video before buying any EV, but especially a Lucid Air and soon Gravity. The primary variables should be obvious and except for ambient temperature not all that different from the ICE experiences that we have all...

    EA is Improving

EA is improving, but that is not necessarily saying much. It does not have enough locations along Interstates or any at all in many secondary cities and remote recreational areas. As I mentioned in another post there are zero EA locations in WV so my drive East will have to detour south rather...

"Practical" range on road trips is about 50% of EPA estimate for most EVs

Interesting observation. My limited experience on the NJ Turnpike is that there are some very aggressive who drivers weave in and out of lanes. I just zen out and stay in the right lane at about the speed limit. In MA, where I lived for many years anything over 80 gets the LEO's attention right...

Highway assist pulling to right when lane widens

Thank you all for your earnest effort to understand and explain the limits of ADAS. It is prudent to respect its limits as well as its benefits. My only extensive experience with HA is on a 2000-mile Interstate cross country and there were one or two instances of it wandering to the right, which...

State of Charge video on Lucid Motors

There are not a lot of Lucid service centers yet but for me, the availability of service has been quite satisfactory. Your assertion that "service visits are immediately available and convenient. No need to wait for a truck" is not exactly my experience dealing with MB, BMW, Audi, and Porsche...

State of Charge video on Lucid Motors

Bobby is right. Enjoy your car now for all of its objectively superior attributes. Technological advances are inevitable. If you fear for Lucid, it may be helpful to know that Lucid must provide support for its vehicles for years. If you favor the dealership model that is your choice, but it is...

    Real Life Range

I have had my AGT since Oct 2022 and have only used the SOC to estimate my range. Simple math--and reliable. I can gauge the variables of a particular drive and tend to be conservative with my efficiency estimations. The nav system was not reliable last March, but I gather that its range...
