Yeah, their internal communications are a mess right now. Back in late April, the factory told the delivery team that they would stop the DE production in two weeks. Apparently, that was not true, and it created a lot of false hype.

Update: the wait continues… I checked with my delivery specialist and ranted a bit when no one knew what was causing the delay or any potential ETA. It's not his fault, obviously, and I made sure he converted the message to the management. Hopefully, we can get some insights later this week...

There are no particular reasons other than it is closer to us. We live in Coconut Grove, so BCC is our go-to for movies, and we made some friends at the Lucid Studio on the ground floor. Of course, I have no experience with the World Center since this is my first Lucid. Is their service good?

I haven’t had any meaningful updates for two weeks. Apparently, whoever is in charge of my transportation to Miami has been off until tomorrow. I did have an official Proforma Invoice and a confirmed pick-up location, though.

Did they already confirm with you that the pick-up location is at Brickell City Center? Mine is confirmed at the World Center. I am very confused about Lucid’s logic behind these decisions. I actually prefer the studio at BCC.

I'd like to sidetrack a bit here: I always get a minor to moderate headache if cold air blows directly to my face. Does anyone else have this issue? I prefer diffused airflow from the AC.

Either they have already produced mine, which I hope is the case, or I will have to wait longer. I guess I’ll know more over the weekend. I assume they issued the invoice because they expect me to write them a check pretty soon.

KBB used to offer me $80K two months ago, lol. The MSRP I paid is $120K. So yeah, it's still a hit in my book after only 5,000 miles.

Yeah, pretty low, but at least it saves me $4,500 in sales tax, so I’m ok with it.

DE’s configuration is Aurora Green Metallic, Tahoe Leather Interior, 22" Front / 23" Rear Aether Stealth Wheels. I traded in my Cyberbeast Foundation series with 5,500 miles on it. I don’t think Tesla holds up value well in this economy. I took a hit, but it is part of the game.

Okay, update: I received a Porforma Invoice today and was also provided with the pick-up location. I guess that’s progress.

Yeah, I was referring to the local sales tax credit. My trade-in saved me at least $4,500 here in Florida. I’m just amazed that Lucid didn’t have such a program until recently.

Damn. Even in the early days (2014), Tesla had their trade-in program. How did people take advantage of the tax credit then?

I traded in my Cybertruck, so at least they are taking Tesla for sure.

Did they not have a trade-in program before? I am new to Lucid, but they did my trade-in appraisal via KBB.
