I reserved 12/20/21 via Brickell City Centre Studio (Miami, FL).

Not that surprised they're only offering dual motor Pures first. But that along with premium sound only option, at least initially, is basically a 10k upcharge off the base Pure price. I kind of shudder to think how long it will actually take for single motor Pures to make it to market.

It's a shame it doesn't appear that full lane keeping (Tesla-autopilot-style) is not standard. That is one of my most used features on my M3P.

And i4 edrive 40s are about 900/mo with M package and other options with minimal down for 36 months. As a current M3P lessee, I could deal with losing a bit of the straight line speed for better build quality and handling so it's a serious option for me in light of the insane lease prices being...

If you look at other makers (i.e., BMW i4, Tesla) that's pretty much true. Compare Range on i4 e40 vs. M50 and Model 3 LR v. Performance.

It makes you wonder how this seemingly obvious issue ever got out of the factory...

I just confirmed in writing with my sales associate: the only downside is the loss of the deposit. We are not bound to go through with the purchase ultimately.

Very interesting. I just got the email at 2pm EST. I think for $300 in my case it's kind of a no brainer even if I'm still not exactly sure if ill end up going through with delivery.

Did you have any steering wheel creaking when you turned it? I did on my test drive but they told me the car was still pre-production from March of this year. That, aside form the sluggish software, was the one main off-putting thing about the interior experience for me.
