Ordering and Delivery: Lucid Air Touring

Is Alina your DA? I might be there getting my ZR SC at the same time. They haven't told me that it's on its way to NoVA yet, but it should be soon.

Ordering and Delivery: Lucid Air Touring

My dashboard just went from "In Production" to "Preparing for Delivery"! Won't be long now! I have my financing check from the CU, just need to ACH/wire the amount owed.

Ordering and Delivery: Lucid Air Touring

With what? Using the NEMA 10-30 outlet, or getting 24 amps out of it?

Ordering and Delivery: Lucid Air Touring

A dryer outlet is just another outlet, and it can handle the current that it was designed for. This is typically 24 amps on a 30 amp circuit. As long as you don't exceed that, you should be fine. This assumes that you are not doing something like plugging the EVSE & the dryer in at the same...

    Adapting to Regenerative Braking

Doesn't T have collision avoidance braking? I was pulling my GV 60 into the garage and it thought I was a bit too aggressive and braked for me.

AT&T Chosen as Connectivity Provider for Lucid Motors EVs

That sucks. My house is in an ATT dead spot. Can the Air connect to the household wi-fi? My Murano can. My GV-60 can't. I think my microcell still works....

    Tyson's Corner Grand Opening

Maybe they think you are too far away? I am about 3 hours away. I got the invite. Not going. I'll be there soon enough to get my Touring.

    Adaptive headlights finally legal

I hope that this can be enabled by OTA updates. I understand that my GV-60 can't do it, as the hardware is not compatible.

If I'd know that the car came with the DDP hardware, I would have waited to reduce the sticker shock.

    Hunting wild Lucid Airs

Saw my first at an EA station as I was driving back home after buying my GV 60.

Charging your Lucid on Tesla Superchargers

You would think EA would have some kind of pop up message on the screen like, "Your EV can't charge this fast. Please move to a lower power charger if available." Of course, A-holes won't care, but others might move, or at least know that they aren't getting anything "extra" at a 350 station...

    Well...I started the cancellation process

Lovin' my GV-60. Will keep it until I get my R1S at the end of the year (knock wood). I will have my Touring by the end of the month.

    Quick question about insurance

My experience with buying new cars is that they (the dealer) verify that I have insurance (not specific to the car being purchased, just an auto policy). I usually let my insurance co. know in advance, but they seem to not care until I actually have the car, and assure me that I am covered as...

    Auto Park

Oh, yeah! It is slow AF! I only show it off as a parlor trick once in a while. The remote one was even slower because the car would stop moving if I got too far away. Strangely, it couldn't park as well in spots that didn't have a curb. In the curb-side spots, it did very well.

I noticed that the car in front is a GV-60! Here is my GV-60 parking itself after I accidentally discovered that it can do it:

    VIN Notification

I checked my dashboard on Thursday to see if there was any info about the $7500 credit. I noticed that my VIN was there when I checked. I got an email from my DA on Jan 8 informing me that my AT was in production and delivery should be 4-6 weeks but no VIN was available yet.. That means I...

Well...I went in a different direction but I will keep my deposit for now

Congrats! I have had mine for a few months now, and I love it! I had to drive to New Jersey (from central VA) to get it, and there was no negotiation. But it was MSRP - no markup. The trade-in value for my FX-37 was pretty good. Higher than I was expecting.
