Let me say that I feel I made a BIG mistake with Santa Cruz.
It is Beee you ti FUL!
But it is white (other than the front seats). REALLY white.
I stopped at an EA near a Wal-Mart and got some cheap towels to put on the floors.
Lucid wants $250 for all-weather mats. Weathertech doesn't have...
My GV-60 has the exterior face recognition. Lets you unlock the car.
Then, once inside, there's a fingerprint reader that lets you start the car & drive it.
So...I was looking at the Lucid app, and there's a "Lucid Charging Plan" under the menu.
If you go there, it has a "Email Receipt" option that is not turned on. I don't know how/why EA would recognize that option, but it might be the reason.
Haven't gotten my Touring to the detailer yet, but my GV-60 got full-front PPF (Hood, grille, front Q-panels) then a full ceramic coat (yes, the PPF gets coated).
Interesting.
I just noticed that I didn't get any charging summaries from my inaugural trip from Tyson's in my Touring. I didn't see what it said on the screen.
A quick re-cap of my experience while it's still fresh!
My appointment was for noon, I arrived about 20 minutes early. Wandered around the showroom (it's where the Macys used to be, north end of the mall) for a few minutes before someone asked if I needed help. My DA came out and we shook hands...
Got mine today at Tyson's Corner, VA.
Took about an hour at the showroom, then drove it to a garage to get the inspection done. The inspection was paid for and arranged by Lucid. Was very quick!
Congrats, jagoff!
I grew up in Mt. Lebanon.
I'm picking my Touring up Friday at Tyson's.
Hopefully, I will have my Rivian by the time I go back for the holidays. So if you see a Canyon Red R1S in the 'Burgh this December, it might be me!
Because the R1S was (is) taking foreeeever. My car was ready for replacement, and I wanted an EV, and the GV-60 was available!
Plan to switch driving between the GV & Lucid until we get the R1S (which is what I really want), then part with one of them.
Ha! Funny story: right after i bought the GV-60, I was showing the Demuro video review to the spousal unit. We got to the part where he mentioned the price. I just kind of shrugged my shoulders.
She looked over to my work laptop and said, "You're going to be working forever." The backstory is...
