For the sake of resale value, I think that it would be smarter to buy trim with 3rd row. You don't have to use them. I'd wager that any buyer looking for a used Gravity, will also want 3 rows. If you absolutely have to have 2 rows, wait for the Gravity (Small SUV) in 2026/2027.

Frankly, at Gravity's overall length of 198.2", I don't think that there is need for rear axle steering. It only adds complexity for complexity's sake. The extra sub-systems and controls exponentially increase the likelihood of failure and repair costs. However, consider the future Escalade IQ...

Your wife's excitement, for me, is confirmation that I made the right decision on continuing to buy $LCID stock, regardless of its all-time lows. They just make great cars! After my current ICE SUV runs its course, then I too will get a Gravity.

Exactly what I was thinking. 100% extrapolates to ~484 miles. Although, I won't be surprised if they make a variant with just above 500 miles, under the perfect test conditions (with a few more cells added). Lucid takes pride in numbers above "500".

YEEESSS, this excites me!!! Now it makes sense why the Gravity is late by 1 year. There was significant redesign done. The retractable center display appears to have been removed.

Hopefully, they bring the Gravity to the DC Auto Show in January 2024. Lots of potential EV SUV buyers here.

One thing is for certain; in late-2021/early-2022, there was a reassessment of the Gravity design. None of us really know what changed. But the reveal next week will be different from the Alpha prototypes we've been seeing driving around California. Hence why Gravity's SOP has been delayed by 1...

It's near impossible to tell what this is. I have concluded that it's a background image on the Curved Display. Cannot think of any interior part/material with this pattern. Perhaps it's to show that the new Glass Cockpit Curved Display will be CONTINUOUS, and not be separated into 3 sections...
