Perhaps someone from Lucid design is on here, and will take feedback on the visor mount/position into account. Maybe it’s not too late to surprise us, again!!!

Lucid Gravity design deep dive with Derek Jenkins

I am very excited to see their implementation of the HUD, especially since the curved display is already closer to eye level. Damn question...has anyone actually seen the rear wiper; is it tucked under the spoiler, out of sight?

For the sake of resale value, I think that it would be smarter to buy trim with 3rd row. You don't have to use them. I'd wager that any buyer looking for a used Gravity, will also want 3 rows. If you absolutely have to have 2 rows, wait for the Gravity (Small SUV) in 2026/2027.

Thanks for the info. Hope that it's optional at the very least.

Frankly, at Gravity's overall length of 198.2", I don't think that there is need for rear axle steering. It only adds complexity for complexity's sake. The extra sub-systems and controls exponentially increase the likelihood of failure and repair costs. However, consider the future Escalade IQ...

    Just for context, see width with mirrors. Again, Lucid are masters of packaging! Gravity = 78.7" R1S = 87.1" EQS SUV = 84.9" Model X = 89.4" X5 & X7 = 87.3" GLE & GLS = 84.9"

Your wife's excitement, for me, is confirmation that I made the right decision on continuing to buy $LCID stock, regardless of its all-time lows. They just make great cars! After my current ICE SUV runs its course, then I too will get a Gravity.

You don't have to say it; I will. I am still firm in my belief that the Gravity will be one of the 1st, if not the 1st car to debut CarPlay 2.0.

Exactly what I was thinking. 100% extrapolates to ~484 miles. Although, I won't be surprised if they make a variant with just above 500 miles, under the perfect test conditions (with a few more cells added). Lucid takes pride in numbers above "500".

With 3 rows, and 119.5" wheelbase, only 3" more than the Air, that extra 3rd row space had to come from somewhere. I'd bet that the extra 2ft of Frunk depth was used to push the Motor and/or other Drive Unit components to right below the Frunk. All I can say is that Lucid are masters of...

One of those Tesla fanboys who loves to shit on $LCID stock, and at the same time, cannot help but report on anything Lucid for views.

YEEESSS, this excites me!!! Now it makes sense why the Gravity is late by 1 year. There was significant redesign done. The retractable center display appears to have been removed.

Gravity: to Reserve or Not to Reserve?

Hopefully, they bring the Gravity to the DC Auto Show in January 2024. Lots of potential EV SUV buyers here.

    Sliding door gravity?

One thing is for certain; in late-2021/early-2022, there was a reassessment of the Gravity design. None of us really know what changed. But the reveal next week will be different from the Alpha prototypes we've been seeing driving around California. Hence why Gravity's SOP has been delayed by 1...

Gravity: to Reserve or Not to Reserve?

After the reveal on November 16th, you'll definitely know if you are going to make the decision to reserve, or not.

It's near impossible to tell what this is. I have concluded that it's a background image on the Curved Display. Cannot think of any interior part/material with this pattern. Perhaps it's to show that the new Glass Cockpit Curved Display will be CONTINUOUS, and not be separated into 3 sections...

    Sliding door gravity?

Images I took from video (December 2020), show that Gravity has both SLIDING AND TRADITIONAL rear doors. It's almost 3 years later, and a lot could have changed. EXECUTIVE - 2 Rows, Sits 4, Rear Reclining Seats with Footrests, Rear Sliding Doors. ADVENTURE - 3 Rows, Sits 6-7, Rotating &...
