I agree. The ceramic makes it so much easier to wash that I end up keeping the car in better condition. I ended up doing full PPF and ceramic, but that is probably overkill.

Unfortunately, you'll get the whole, "that's not a problem because you shouldn't have a problem with it" a lot around here. The whole point of Lucid imho is to surpass other cars. It absolutely should have these basic functions. They REALLY need to start regular small software updates...

The first 120 miles of Inside EV's test was 4.0 mi/kW. I would need to get 4.7 mi/kW (10% over EPA) over the next 70 miles to get the same. Not likely since they never got over 4.3 on the entire trip.

Yes, but if I drive in the same ideal conditions (temp, elevation, speed) I should get at least close right? I just did 50 miles, 65 degrees, 70 mph ACC, wind <5 mph, perfectly flat... 3.0 mi/kW. That's not close.

Completely agree. Lidar should (eventually) make the Lucid's performance and safety better than any other car. Unfortunately, we are not there yet which is disappointing.

Setting aside software, I have had #4, 5, and 10 (maybe). The only one I am really concerned about is #4 (range). I will also say that Lucid (so far) has been really great to deal with. Humans call you, they don't try and wiggle out of dealing with issues, etc. This is orders of magnitude better...

The shop I used does lots of Teslas and has a charger (and adapters) in the shop. They had it all charged up when I picked it up.

Then the only conclusion I can draw is there is something wrong with my car. If they used my car in their exact test, I do not believe it would perform the same. I will bow out of this thread, it isn't helping me figure out what may be wrong and likely getting in the way of other conversations.

I am being thrown by my Tesla experience. I would often be under EPA, but I would also hit EPA if I drove especially gingerly in good conditions. I have yet to get better than 75% in the Lucid. Also, Lucid IS claiming it is more efficient because it's EPA / battery size is significantly better...
