    LUCID Gravity Lease vs Finance

For those who can write it off as a business expense, lease makes a lot of sense. That made last end of year lease incentives for Air even more attractive. Still, the Gravity lease numbers are definitely on the higher side...

Okay, I still choose the Air, but…

Sorry, this is not a direct reply to your message. But I found this reference on the FB Lucid owner group. Looks like this picture was seen on one of the threads😉

The Press Embargo Has Been Lifted

In my line of business, we try not to use absolute terms (like 100% or 0 percent, never or always, nothing or only). Technology is everywhere. And yes, the "tech company" term has been traditionally applied to companies involved in communication technology, data, robots, software and hardware...

Well, certainly I won't get down to calling names or invoking absurdity. But you probably don't follow sportswear industry too closely. Here are some links to new technologies proudly developed by Nike: https://www.nike.com/a/air-max-dn-release-info...

The Press Embargo Has Been Lifted

Who knows what's errogant and insulting?.. Some people would say that calling opinions different than yours "errogant and insulting" is errogant and insulting. Or assuming a person's type without knowing them 🤷‍♂️. And actually it was not a reviewer but a Lucid exec himself who called it a tech...

The Press Embargo Has Been Lifted

I agree with you. I think Tesla made the car around software, making it a kind of appliance or a "fast iPad" if you will. Lucid is making it's cars for driving and they are pretty good about it. I hope their software part will catch up soon...

100%. Then every company "that evolves or 'makes' things work" is a technology company.

The Press Embargo Has Been Lifted

An excellent and a very informative diagram. I would argue that the hidden part of the iceberg is present in any modern car (except for battery management/charging on ICE cars ofc). And the above water part of the iceberg is behind in Lucid. That's exactly what I meant.

The Press Embargo Has Been Lifted

Intel is heavily into cloud services, not only hardware. AMD makes hardware for software, so yes it is tech. Lucid makes cars. Is Toyota a tech company? There is a lot of tech in their cars as well 🤷‍♂️. Tesla is probably a tech company, since their cars are very software-centered (and...

The Press Embargo Has Been Lifted

Agreed. But that all comes under "automotive" or "EV-making" umbrellas. Making airplanes involves a lot of technology as well, but nobody calls Boeing a tech company... When talking about technology people mostly mean communications, IT etc, where Lucid is lagging behind (hope not for long).

The Press Embargo Has Been Lifted

The funniest statement in this clip is towards the end, when one of the execs says: "We are a technology company". I think for now they better stick to "automotive" or "EV making" line. They definitely make great EV's and cars in general, but technology is their weakest part IMHO.

    Camera lag/delay

I think it goes both ways. The cameras should not be laggy and if they are, Lucid should fix them. But Lucid (or any other car company) would not and should not pay for the damage which is caused because of that, as the primary responsibility for safety is still on the driver and not on the...

    Miles/Kwh

My 2025 AT averaged 3.3-3.4 m/kwh over first 3k miles (since December 2024) in SF Bay Area. My daily drive is a mix of hills, freeway and city driving. So I guess that's why efficiency in on the lower side. Recently I drove ~ 100 mi on a freeway with 3 other adults in the car, and it did 3.9 m/kwh.

My ‘25 AGT is Frickin’ AMAZING

I’m enjoying my 2025 AT as well. Picked it up on 12/19/24 and have 3k miles by now. An awesome car to drive! My efficiency averages only 3.3 mi/kwh but I guess that’s because my typical drive is a mix of hills, freeway and city…

    Extended Warranty

Don't you guys think that with Lucid's current financial status, offering an extended warranty with it's potential significant liabilities would not be the company's highest priority?

    2.6.11 Update

For my AT, the 2.6.11 update screwed the graphics of played media on the right side of the central cockpit panel. It is now stuck on the first played song and doesn't change to reflect the next played one. Quite a minor bug, but still new since the last update...
