You don’t need Face ID to set up the profile. It apparently is not required for stop and go function of the drive assist. The “can’t recognize your face” error is likely a new bug introduced by the update.

This update has indeed seemingly introduced several bugs not seen before in my 2025 AT: 1. The car randomly would refuse go into drive or reverse 2. It randomly misreads speed signs, reading speed limit at 75 mph on a city street 3. The stop and go function doesn't work 90% of the time with the...

This has happened to my 2025 AT a couple of times since the latest update.

I'm sure it's not the app itself but the connection or the car. But being unable to connect to the car or impractically slow to do that, renders it pretty much useless no matter what features or UI it has...

I think the main thing for the app is that it is still too many times too slow to wake the car up. It has gotten better overtime but there is definitely more room for improvement. Would be also nice to have more charging options (like schedule charging through the app, view charging stats etc)

On the bright side, I've noticed that it looks like after OTA 2.6.16 Hey Lucid can connect to the internet and report weather or time (it stopped doing it after 2.6.0 - was demanding location serviced to be turned on)!

One additional bug that I have noticed since this OTA is the misreading of the speed signs. It has read 75 mph speed limit several times both on freeways and city streets. Has never happened before that.

I would predict that it will come when they will start putting Gravity screens in the newly produced Airs (MY 2027?). I don't think UX3 will come to current Airs, but instead they will see something like 2.9... I hope I am wrong.

I don't think we should expect any Air OTAs any time soon. Doesn't look like it's a priority for Lucid as it is focused on rolling the Gravity out. *And a few disclaimers for the regular fan base: 1. Lucid is a greatest car/technology company. 2. Nobody ever promised that any updates will come...
