Service should verify the tape applied. My service records also show tape was applied to my car but I was recently told they needed to install a different one when they actually verified it yesterday while I was in for something else.

Now I’m curious… is there any scenario where regen OFF provides better efficiency?

I think the one thing I'm not a fan of when using high regen is when i want to adjust my foot on the accelerator pedal to get more comfortable (for example on a road trip). The car will decelerate hard while I do so.

Replacement wheel faces arrived.that will move the rear wheels about 8mm inboard … New face on left, old face on the right. Moving on to cleaning fasteners and re-assembly.

Lucid uses 433 MHz sensors. I bought these off eBay which automatically pairs to the car without having to visit the service center … eBay link

Road trip done. Everything worked out great … except for battery capacity. I charged to 100% for the first time and noticed only 411 miles. 25% capacity is roughly 100 miles so I wanted to stay above that like I would do for a road trip with an ICE car. Plenty of opportunities to plug in along...

Good point for an 18 month lease. Maybe consider leaving it as is and go with cables, chains or socks if comes down to it? That would be cheaper than a pair of tires, no? Think of the increased blowout risk from stretched tires since the sidewalls would be even more susceptible to potholes.

That's quite a bit of stretch, especially on a 21" wheel. IMHO, you're better off getting a dedicated set of winter wheels and tires rather than mounting, dismounting and rebalancing tires every year.

I've been thinking of getting their lifetime alignment too. I actually have it for my other cars and positive that I got my money's worth of alignments. The only thing that's holding me back is that I'm almost certain the technician will also be "testing" my cars acceleration during the test...

Statistically speaking, that car will get into a fender bender so most folks my age learned on a beater for this reason. An ICE model sounds like a great suggestion so they learn how to deal with maintenance responsibilities. Ever heard of a tank known as the Ford Granada? ;)
