Lidar Blocked whenever it rains - what does the Lidar do?

Somewhere in this thread, there is a description of what the Lidar "sees". In short, the misting and droplets on the Lidar causes a layer that refracts, reflects, and diffuses the electromagnetic waves being emitted. This is in many ways the same effect as rain on a windshield without wipers or...

Fret not about the week delay. They are doing last minute quality assurance checks.

    BEWARE of Misleading Sales Specialists

I understand OP's frustration. However, if he has the coupon, there is a solution at hand (order the mobile or home charger). Given the lack of other posts about this, we can assume (rightly so) this was an error out of many thousands of orders. I presume OP is a multi-car household. That...

    BEWARE of Misleading Sales Specialists

Take the 1k credit and get everything you could want including the NACS adapter. Maybe you have to wait. Maybe it is inconvenient at this very moment. However, once this gets resolved, you will be better setup than most if you ordered everything. If this is a coupon, just order it from the...

Custom Order for Air Touring - Conflicting Delivery Expectations

As Bobby mentioned, if you order a car that does not match inventory, then you are simply subjected to a wait until your exact car is produced. I imagine they have a backlog of requested vehicles. This is probably sorted by trim. They then would likely sort vehicles by options. Some vehicles...

The I-90 Surge by Out of Spec Studios

No disrespect intended here Shane. We've met. You know I can be a bit blunt. No need to apologize to me or anyone else. I would be willing to pitch in and take PTO if they need someone to help with the videos for the Lucid front. As I suspected, you did the best with the available knowledge on...

The I-90 Surge by Out of Spec Studios

Out of Spec team should have put someone familiar with the charging curve of the GT-P, DE, and GT 25' lineup. Even folks more familiar with the car in general other than Dave and whoever else that was (not Shane) would have been a huge boon. There is no real difference between unplugging at...

How is the Press Responding to the opening of Gravity Orders?

I guess we get the best of both worlds with an adapter unlike the Air. If they are going to use NACS, then they would likely have accounted for the amp differences (maybe... hopefully). That is a huge selling point if that is the case.

    UX 2.5 OTA Update

Make sure you confirm the software update. Once I did this, the setting became available. Noticeable improvements in the base even without the TSC. Look forward to hearing further improvements once the car gets serviced next week.

    Gravity Orders Discussion

The options are interesting, and I am surprised the fully loaded version with the most expensive options only comes out to ~126k. Impressive. More information on the 5 seat arrangement would be great. Is there more cargo room as a result? What is the projected range loss from larger tires? Is...

Deleted after further thought. You are right. No need to stir the pot on a ridiculous idea.

    UX 2.5 OTA Update

My mind didn't even go in that direction. That sounds equally likely. Guess we will have to wait and see.

    UX 2.5 OTA Update

While I am curious as to what all the audio updates entail, I am most interested in the Regen off option. Does this mean no regen braking at all with the application of the brake pedal, or does it only mean no regen after lifting off the accelerator?

Car will not update. Lucid says needs new telematics module not covered by warranty. Is this normal?

If the rates are the same across the country for the most part, that sounds like ~4.5 hours at $150 an hour.

Would you still buy a Lucid Air living over 600 miles away of a service center?

Lucid has always picked up my car for warranty issues. This is not a concern for OP. On the other hand, if OP wants to install crossbars or use Lucid for yearly maintenance, swapping out tires, etc., then he would either have to drive, pay for transport, or pay for mobile service. I promise...

Would you still buy a Lucid Air living over 600 miles away of a service center?

No issues on this end. The newer models are practically flawless compared to the 22' model year. I've now had two models from the 22' timeframe. Lucid picks up the car in a covered trailer with a loaner rolled off nowadays. Don't stress it. The car is fantastic. Lucid will take care of you...

All Season Tires - Not for sale through Lucid

I haven't personally had issues with the Michelin other than flats. Did well for ice and rain for the first set with 1k+ miles. Others on the forum may be able to speak more on the topic as I swapped back to OEM only due to... lack of restraint if you will.
