My assumption is that the car is adjusting cooling/heating based on the cabin temp, the desired temp and the outside temp. I also suspect it comes in to the Battery management System and possibly when calculating range.
Mine is consistently 2 degrees higher than the actual temp. How do I know? I have a calibrated weather station outside. I'd love the ability in settings to be able to adjust the calibration with a simple +/- degrees.

I can’t say I’ve noticed my battery being any warmer after heating the inside of my car for 20min. It’s still registered as “blue” with a low energy warning. I doubt the brief amount of power going in to the battery to top it up while it’s heating warms the battery much. It’s probably more to do...
How do you precondition that battery? The only way I know is if it's not connected to a charger and you precondition ready for charging. Is that what you're doing ?
Had my AT for almost a year and I heard something similar for the first and only time two days ago after plugging in. At the time the battery had the cold energy reduced message and I put it down to that. Didn’t do it yesterday when I charged.
Had the app “crash” for the first time today. Had to restart the phone. Doesn’t look like a crash actually. Looks like the app is taking too long to start and iOS is killing it.
