Thanks for being the final and only correct opinion on the topic. 🙄

    Lucid air vs my m5

I understand the OP’s view - best case is to have them all. 😜. I have a forever car (911 turbo cab 6 speed), and ideal daily (Cayenne GTS), and an EV (Model S Plaid) - all bought pre-owned after the first owners took the depreciation. My wife drives a huge SUV and always has, so I feel like our...

Millbrae, CA Service dept doesn't answer their phone AND there is no way to leave a message

Can you imagine that process as a bespoke customer service model? Holy cow that is really lowering your expectations significantly. I guess customers get what they allow.

Gravity Spec coming Oct 3 ?

No chance. They need the upperclass mall crawlers to pick this over their next Range Rover. The # of people that ever go even remotely off road in their SUV is approximately zero in the grand scheme of things. This needs to be an alternative to high end SUVs and maybe minivans. I don’t even...

Gravity Spec coming Oct 3 ?

Porsche in no way relies on Taycan sales for their very existence. They sell everything they can make with some of their other models, and are not beholden to one or two models. They are also way more aspirational for a huge segment of people, most of whom have never even heard of Lucid. I...

Gravity Spec coming Oct 3 ?

That’s kind of my point - competing on price with the established brands with the heritage behind them when you are unproven and rely on early adopters is a tough sell at that price point. Maybe they should have copied Lexus by offering more than the current names and undercut the price so the...

Gravity Spec coming Oct 3 ?

They ain’t gonna sell many if the cheapest version starts at $80k and the one available first with all the goodies is $120k+.

2025 Air GT - Issues on Delivery Day

Crazy that so many people here blame the customer just because they are new to the forum. Checklist? You think there should need to be a checklist for a cutting edge $100k + car? Maybe suggest instead that Lucid uses the checklist BEFORE delivery so it’s on them and not on the customer. The...

    Lucid communication with body shop

I wouldn’t say Lucid is new on the scene anymore - they are several years old and 10s of thousands of cars sold.

Lucid vs Tesla self drive software

Huh? Push the little wiper button with your right thumb. Requires nothing more - if you want it to go faster scroll with the left scroll wheel - no screen required. And for Lucken - the model S has a screen right in front of the driver so you don’t need to look to the right for anything while...

New York Times NACS Delays Article

This is it exactly - there are exponentially more Teslas already on the road than the other makes who want to use NACS. Slow rolling it keeps your current customers happy that they don’t have to wait on 15 different makes trying to figure out how to park across 3 spots to charge, and it also...

Curb rash - 4th day of ownership on 20 inch wheels

You can get these fixed for maybe $80-$100 a wheel by a lot of places or mobile services. I wouldn’t sweat it, even though it sucks when it happens.

Pure vinyl driver seat has a hole/ tear

That is a total ripoff. I’ve had bigger cuts than that fixed for under $100. Ask any of the local luxury car dealers who they use for reconditioning on trade ins and then call them directly.

New (again) Lucid Pure owner in San Antonio

There’s a service center in Austin and I was told they will handle it via mobile if possible.

Wonder why our insurance policy premiums are doubling every year? It’s across the entire automotive landscape unfortunately.

10+ hours Locked out of My Lucid

Why doesn’t the car recognize that the phone key and/or the fob are in the car and not lock it? My cars have done that for the last 20 years with keyless entry - when the fob is inside it won’t lock. Seems like a simple fix.
