It just occurred to me that Lucid may be doing serious QC on the Tourings that have already been built, possibly in a variety of colors, and waiting to assign VIN’s only on those cars that pass the rigorous process in order to make sure that the cars delivered this year are the top of the mark...

I too will be taking delivery of my Touring at Costa Mesa. Your idea of doing a connection to an EA as part of the process is EXCELLENT! Thanks for that idea; if that was suggested elsewhere I missed it.

I’m guessing that no Touring VIN’s will be released until after that first one gets delivered in Beverly Hills on the 15th, just a guess!
