After further thought, I may just take the savings and go with my GT without HUD. I had HUD on my last three BMW 7 and 8 series. I was upset at first my Air did not have it. But, to be honest, I have not missed it at all. So add the $600 for the three outlets, cut $2,600 for not having HUD...
The Gravity GT I ordered is fully loaded just like the DE. But, I do not need the 7 seats, the towing hitch, and the 22 inch wheels. The difference is $140k for DE vs $117k for what I ordered. Ouch. I would have to pay more to get less range and more power that I will not use.
The problem I have to think through is that I want the 20 inch wheels and the 5 seater. The DE is awesome. But has lower range than GT. If I get a DE with a 5 seater and smaller wheels it is still the same price. Why would I want more horsepower on smaller wheels?
Anyway, these keep falling off as you rub them on curbs and parking bumpers. Bobby has a video (or thread here) with the exact screw/nuts you can order from amazon to fix them for good. I installed these clips and they have never fallen off since.
Thx Bobby!
I agree. But keep in mind that my last fully loaded 7 series bmw was $1,200 a month to lease. But if you try to get one now, it will also be $1,700+ a month. All car prices and interest rates increased last 3 to 4 years.
I ordered the 5 seat. Here is why:
1) I never take more than a couple people in my car and I have not owned a 7 seater since my kids were small.
2) the car will be lighter and thus range should be slightly better.
3) it is cheaper!
I do not see my name on the list. There is a "YES" from FL early on the list that could be me. but I am not sure. I did order one right from the start.
Gravity GT, Black, Stealth, Ojai, 5 seater with 20" wheels for maximum range. :) fully loaded with Dream Pro and Sound Pro and all other...
