I am almost certain that it's the former. Lucid's 60mph isn't even 60 but 58mph. And who drives lower than the speed limit!!!

Touring on 19s with 15k miles in little over a year. My life time efficiency has been 3.7mi/kwh. I am in the Dallas area. When it is not actively raining, it's not very tough to hit 4mi/kwh in moderate temperatures.

The only risk with this is of course charger reliability. You arrive at a charger with <10% SOC and the charging station has no operating charger, you are doomed! You then pray that there is another operating charger within that <10% SOC range.
