They did: newer processors, heat pump, etc. I have a '24 and no lag. I just have a couple of minor problems: Driver door not soft-closing. Software bug introduced by an update in Aug 2024, still buggy. Sound cutting off when canceling the cruise. Gotta stop, reset the car. Doors not unlocking...

Usually newer models tend to be better. But Air's biggest problem is not hardware, it's software, and the software is the same from '22 to '25. Unless you are lucky and/or an enthusiast, I wouldn't recommend getting it.

Thanks for looking into this. Mine says "Energy Cost: Retail Rate" and doesn't mention anything about anything "included". I was hoping to find something that said that I had 6-months or whatever of free charging at the lease start. Just to double check that there wasn't a mistake.

I didn't know either tbh :) I don't know where to find that piece of information that says how many month/years of free charging I had. I could have swear that I had 24 months, but maybe it was just my wishful thinking. I'll ask CS. Oh wait, they don't respond. Oh well ...

I don't think it's an "idle-fees caused it" situation. That was a different thing, which makes sense IMO. What happened in my case, apparently, is that I only have 6 months of free charging - I leased the car July 2024.

Got charged. It stayed in Pending for a few days, then it hit hard. Well, it was nice while it lasted (6 months).

Lucid likes to keep the the relationship spicy and full of surprises: fix 2 things, break 3, but never the same :) Or like Forrest's Mama (may she RIP) used to say "Lucid updates are like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get."

It matters to me, otherwise I wouldn't have asked. I would like to do that as well.
