The rate of charge listed for Gravity is the same that Tesla lists for their superchargers - 200 miles in 15 minutes. Not really good evidence that they've solved the voltage issue, but a decent data point.

Drivers are definitely prepared for the environment to bring unexpected challenges. But I think that a behavior that depends on internal car state that is uncommon takes away from the driving experience. They can provide the choice easily enough and allow the driver to decide.

Any Lucid can charge at a Tesla supercharger that has a magic dock. They're pretty rare, but they exist. Any CCS car can do that, whether or not their manufacturer has an agreement - you just need to open an account with the Tesla app.
