Another simple subwoofer install with pics

12v outlet on a 15 amp fuse. Theoretically 180W is the max.

    Ventilated Seats

Ironically, that article says the Air has the “cooled” seats

    Ventilated Seats

In theory I agree. It's like a heat sink on a CPU. In practice, it does nothing to prevent swampass on a long drive during a hot day

    Ventilated Seats

Yep, I just got the call from my service center confirming that they pull air in, don't push air out. I wish I could have my seats pull a MegaMaid here and go from suck to blow. But here we are. No idea why car manufacturers think that's a good design, it works very poorly in every...

    Ventilated Seats

Interesting. That’s a shame. My service tech seemed to agree mine weren’t working so who knows

    Ventilated Seats

What's interesting is when I tested it before, it absolutely blew out, you could feel it. My prior car, BMX iX did the "suck in" thing, and it was worthless. Absolute crap. I don't know why some automakers feel the need to do it that way. I wonder if an update reversed how the fan spins to...

    Ventilated Seats

Yeah it’s in service now. They confirmed they’re not working. But my loaner is doing the exact same thing as my car. So something is up at a larger scale

    Ventilated Seats

I think a recent update broke them. I tested them on my car when I first got it six months ago (and they worked great), but didn’t need them all winter. Went to use them this weekend and nothing happened. I have a loaner right now and it’s the same issue.

    Are 21s really that bad?

I had the 19s on during winter and these during the warmer days, so it’s not been noticeable. But overall it’s definitely less efficient

    Are 21s really that bad?

I swapped from 19s to the 21s about a month ago. I love them. They barely ride any differently, but way more grip and handling response. I do make sure to avoid potholes, though

    2.6.11 Update

So my car went into service yesterday and I let them know about the ventilated seats problem I'm having. The guy confirmed they weren't working on the spot. My loaner, which is a slightly older GT model also has the lack of ventilation. It's also on 2.6.11. Seems to me like they broke...

    2.6.11 Update

Just noticed, yesterday, my ventilated seats stopped working as of this update

    Schedule service. That's not normal.

    Car leans to the right

I was looking at my car in the garage over the past few days and felt like it was leaning to the right. Today I decided to check if it was my eyes or reality. Sure enough, I measured from the floor to the highest point of each wheel arch. Both of the drivers side arches were just above 30”. Both...

    Rewards Store lacking?

They really need to add wheel/tire sets to the rewards store. I'd end up with like 5 sets of them, but that's fine

2 front tires blew when hitting potholes.

Hey, and it was nice chatting with you at the SC while we waited!

2 front tires blew when hitting potholes.

Had you checked your pressures lately? It’s still cold here in MA, perhaps your pressures were also way too low. I swapped to my 21s a few weeks ago and have had to adjust pressures a few times to make sure they’re at 42psi cold. I also make sure to avoid all potholes.

I am extremely glad that I leased my car.

Turn off the distracted driver thing. Lane keep assist and distracted driver were two things I had to turn off real quick. It really improved the experience. But the audio stuff, yeah, that is frustrating. I’ve had it happen a few times but not as often as you seem to

    Back to the shop again...

That was my Rivian experience. My mistake was not pursuing lemon law replacement. Definitely get the ball rolling on that now
