Lucid Gravity getting ready for Prime Time

I really hope they roll out lower trim levels quickly and include options like Stealth Appearance Package right at launch. Assuming the specs look great, and I make a reservation, it could be a really long wait if I want a Touring equivalent.

New Air Pure owner in Colorado

The first time we drove down (3 years ago) in an EV, we went Santa Fe, Albuquerque, Gallup, Flagstaff, then down to Phoenix. My parents actually live in Gilbert which is on the east side. Normally we would drop down at Holbrook and go through Payson. Now there are EA chargers at Payson, Show...

Lucid Gravity getting ready for Prime Time

Our EQS has little easter eggs at Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

Really impressed with paint quality and the stealth package

I just washed my Air Touring for the first time today. I have a Quantum Grey with the Stealth appearance package. I'm really impressed with the quality of the factory paint and the quality of the stealth trim. There are a lot more stealth trim pieces around the car than first expected. They have...

New Air Pure owner in Colorado

We drive to Phoenix 1-2 times per year so we are pretty familiar with all of the EA chargers along the route. We are headed down there over Thanksgiving but we will be taking our EQS SUV for the extra space. I feel a weekend trip with the wife to Santa Fe is needed. That's a great suggestion.

New Air Pure owner in Colorado

Glad to know there are other owners in the area. I've seen two Air's in town. One was a Silver Air on 24 a couple of months ago. Probably was you! Loving the car so far. Can't wait to take it on a drive in the mountains. Because it's only an 18 month lease I'm not getting a set of winter tires...

    Gravity starting at 80k?

If the Air Pure starts at $77k it seems reasonable that a RWD base Gravity starts low $80k range.

    Q3 production and deliveries?

The 45k is US sales only. I'm guessing Lucid was planning on global sales by 2023. The luxury car market in China is huge and Europe is probably on par with the US considering they prefer sedans over SUVs. Was that number from Lucid sedans only or did it include some Gravity sales? Also...

    Q3 production and deliveries?

Are that many people interested in and regularly using ADAS today? We rarely used enhanced autopilot in our Model X, and our EQS SUV has arguably a better ADAS system than our Tesla, and we hardly ever use it as well. We use it on long highway roadtrips, and occasionally in heavy traffic...

    Q3 production and deliveries?

I'm assuming it will be similar in price as the Air. Maybe a slightly premium. If the Gravity is significantly more expensive, then that could change the equation significantly. We paid around $120k for our EQS SUV. I would gladly pay in the $110k - $130k range for a "Touring" equivalent...

    Q3 production and deliveries?

The R1S (SUV) is the bulk of their volume now. Their R1T (truck) sales have slowed down. You can buy one from inventory now. I can't imagine there is a massive market for $80k-$100k electric pickup trucks. The Gravity should easily outsell the Air by 4:1 if not more. But that could mean...

    Q3 production and deliveries?

Do we think that the recently launch of the Pure will pick up sales? The recently price cuts and lease rates should have an impact. We weren't planning on our Air, and were waiting for the Gravity. We only picked up the Air because of the current lease rates. After driving it for a week l'm...

New Air Pure owner in Colorado

That’s the spec we originally had. I was torn between the two. They both look so good. Congrats and welcome to EV life.

New Air Pure owner in Colorado

I posted my delivery in another thread, but I just took delivery of our Touring last Thursday. I'm down in Manitou Springs. We absolutely love it!

Lucid Gravity getting ready for Prime Time

Currently we are driving a Mercedes EQS SUV. We love it but just about anything would be an improvement in terms of looks. So far the Gravity looks good. I prefer the more aero / wagon look versus some really aggressive SUV, but I'm really excited to see the inside space and storage. That will...

    Getting into Lucid Family

A touring will have a similar range to a Model S. That is plenty for most people and it will save you $10k+ over a GT. Unless you really need the extra range, a Touring is hard to beat. The Pure loses a lot of standard features so it will feel less premium. If you don't care about some of the...

18 month Air Touring lease with Gravity Priority

Just took delivery this afternoon. What an amazing car! It feels every bit a fast and sporty as my prior Taycan Turbo S for $100k less. Plus a better UI and more luxury. I really can't believe more people aren't picking these up.

Lucid Air Sapphire goes UNDER 2 seconds plus UNDER 9 for the 1/4 mile!🙂

If the Lucid Sapphire is the Porsche Turbo S equivalent, I really hope they end up with a GTS version down the road. I'd love to see its suspension, brakes, and three motor setup in a 800hp lower cost variant. Between SavageGeese and Jason, the Sapphire sounds like the real deal.

    Gravity Launch

Usually the new product launches happen on day 1/2. So I would assume the Gravity will launch on Nov 17th or 18th. Then the rest of the week it will be on display at the show.

    Legal Action wrt to Range

The EPA is to blame for the BS testing, however Tesla and Lucid are examples where they use the poor testing to their advantage to advertise excessive range numbers by performing the 5 cycle test. Many other automakers (Porsche, Mercedes, etc) choose not to game the system and end up with EPA...
