Is this what they mean by “multitasking” in their Sep 10 presentation?

I get the sense that both Tidal and Spotify car native apps are written by their respective companies and not really Lucid. Since we are a microscopically small market for Tidal (how many of the few Lucid owners are Tidal subscribers? I’m not) I can see why they wouldn’t devote much engineering...

I hope Lucid won't go down this road. Would be a big selling point for me for whatever car eventually replaces my Air.

You know, I wish I'd patented this idea so that I could prevent automakers from doing it. Although I am not a lawyer and have no expertise in the area otherwise, so I don't know whether that would have been feasible anyway.

Sadly, ads in everything has been normalized in society. With streaming services for example, many people won't spend a latte's worth of dollars per month to not be assaulted by these things. I predict that younger drivers won't even see this as all that weird.

Hands-free highway assist! Now that DD Pro costs $2500 over Premium in a new car, and if Lucid will let me pay that $2500 (my car came with the hardware even though I opted out of the $10k upcharge for DD Pro), it will be a much easier decision to justify. Also - further audio improvements...

Agreed. The car can completely out handle the 245 all seasons. Perhaps next spring I’ll get another set of larger wheels and summer tires…

Interesting. I guess you can tell it to play a specific playlist, and it will just play it? The Lucid Spotify app chokes attempting to load my "Liked Songs" playlist because, apparently, it's too big. I can only play it using the phone app or if it shows up on on the dash panel home screen...

Would suggest entering a faraway address into the navigation and having it calculate the route, as well as panning and zooming the map. Then as a negative control, switching through the regular menus (HVAC etc). Should result in a minute or two of footage max for each car. (Wish I had tried out...

What specifically do you mean by "terrible"? This is an incredibly subjective descriptor. Both the native Spotify app and Spotify on my iPhone through CarPlay sound perfectly fine to me.

Then it should have opened once and closed once. Instead, it closed twice. Edit: Both times, the app indicated the frunk was closed, and that the action that would have happened was opening the frunk. It did not do what I asked.

My car's ability to decide where it is physically located by GPS (which, on phones, is normally augmented by cell service) also seems worse since 2.3.0, although this is purely anecdotal.

Well...not quite "now". These changes are planned, but no specific date is promised for the rollout.

Unless the price were exorbitant, if Lucid offered a retrofit to my MY23 car I'd pay for new motor mounts.
