There is no way the tech in the Jaguar EV will be comparable to what we have in Lucid, but I am genuinely curious about what their cars will actually look like now. I guess the ad worked for me in some sense.

Perhaps this type of failure causes some car controls to be unavailable. Seems that way in the picture. I would definitely want an accelerated fix for this.

I was hoping there would be new window switches in MY24 that don’t have the noise so I can have them retrofitted. If this noise bothers you please let Lucid customer care know (as I have) so they know I’m not the only nut job 😂

@Cosmo Cruz @borski - OK, call me crazy but I recorded it in my parked car. Microphone was nestled in the driver door forward set of window switches. The noise is plainly audible to me. It's at ~7848 Hz and you can do your own FFT on my recording and look at the spectrum to verify...

The dash/pilot screen backlight noise - fixed in firmware 2.2.2 - was IIRC something like 8 or 9 kHz. To my ear the window switch noise is a higher frequency but lower amplitude. I have a microphone on order and will try and test when it arrives.

It seems a high enough frequency for that. I will try and record and see if I can't pick out the specific frequency from the power spectrum.

I tried this on my car, and when I turn the headlights off the window switch lights also turn off. I can also hear the sound more readily with my ear right next to the switches. So I’m not convinced it’s the headlights specifically. And yes this is most likely a design consequence and not...

Interesting...so when you turn off the headlights while sitting and night, and the window switch LEDs are still on, you don't hear the noise?
