    2.6.2 Software Update

I'm interested in the incremental bug fixes at this point. There are some weird little bugs well documented in this forum that I look forward to seeing go away.

    2.6.2 Software Update

You're probably justified in contacting Customer Care to ask for them to manually push the newest one if you're still on 2.5.x.

    Mobile key unlocking delay

For those whose phones work well as a key - what specific phone do you have? Do you use a phone case? My iPhone 14 Pro (with a thin plastic case) is just OK, sometimes I have to wait several seconds for the car to notice. The car will aggressively auto-lock, presumably because it lost the phone...

    Charging to 90%?

Welcome! For Lucid it is 80% as shown in the Lucid app.

    OTA Update 2.6.0

I also had for the first time ever, after updating to 2.6.0, the heated steering wheel not staying on. I gave up on it and the next time I drove the car several hours later it worked. For what it’s worth, the passenger side front seat heaters were on full blast at the time.

    OTA Update 2.6.0

Also installing now. Feels like the earliest I’ve gotten an update after announcement in a while. Looking forward to the drive home from work this evening!

Thank you for taking our feedback and holding a virtual event. Submitted and looking forward!

    OTA Update 2.6.0

Massive in what way? Perhaps they've tweaked the bass a bit (in addition to allowing us to reduce it more from the now-substantial levels)?

    Next update?

I'm just telling myself they're putting the extra time into extra QA for the upcoming software update. Here's hoping it's the most robust release yet...

    We’re safe. Thank you Lucid

Most importantly your daughter and (I assume) the other driver are safe! Other car looks like a late 1990s Toyota Camry to me. Speaks to how much safety has improved in car design (and, of course, how much the weight difference matters).

Really, really favorable review of Hey, Lucid...

For me it’s helpful for selecting music (to the extent it can understand me pronouncing stylized artist names) and turning off navigation. I’d rather have it than not. I once had a nice conversation with it about how I could drive to Iceland.

Will the Air ever be redesigned?

I really like the closer to the ground driving position of a sedan. SUVs/crossovers don't feel as fun with the higher seating position. But I do recognize that my opinion is probably shared by fewer and fewer people as time goes on.

    More YouTube Nonsense . . .

Certainly agree, although the real tragedy is that people consume this content-free content enough for it to be profitable. I'd be much happier if the Internet were full of reliable information and cogent opinions that went against my own point of view, rather than this stuff.

Problem with big screen. Impossible to start the car!

This happened to me recently as well. I did an Air logo reset, which fixed it.

6000 Mile Review of 2025 Lucid Air Pure

I was referencing specifically the rate at which the entire battery can accept energy - since there are fewer individual redox reactions being driven in Pure/Touring by the input current - not the total capacity of the battery.

6000 Mile Review of 2025 Lucid Air Pure

There are fewer battery cells in Pure/Touring. Each battery cell can only accept energy at a particular maximum rate due to the underlying chemistry, and they are charged in parallel.

    New IOS Mobile App 2.0

I've installed it now. @Blue Lectroid I guess you'll have to wait a short time for Apple to catch up for you.

    New IOS Mobile App 2.0

I too am newly seeing crashes on app start. Seems quite similar to what @thecodingart describes. After rebooting my iPhone, app starts successfully.

    New IOS Mobile App 2.0

It seems to me like basically the same stuff with a warmed over layout. The widgets can't be moved, resized, or changed (for now?), but they are already sorted by descending importance. The app just doesn't have to do that much. There's no need to spend more than a few seconds in the app at a...
