    Turo: Rent a Lucid

Rent per hour or half day. I’d be down for that.

Poll: Lucid Air Touring/Pure Reservation Holders, if the new EV tax bill passes, would you reconsider your reservation?

Getting it right can only buy you so much goodwill for so long. Struggling and going backwards is not progress.

if 2024, no ty. Plenty of options by then. And who is to say the recession isn’t coming. Things are shaky.

Poll: Lucid Air Touring/Pure Reservation Holders, if the new EV tax bill passes, would you reconsider your reservation?

I got in before the price increase but was banking on the 7.5k and Cali 2.5k. So no, I won’t be ordering my pure if the bill passes. At 87k + tax, I have a lot of good options.

7500 EV tax credit update with new bill

i agree with your first statement but not the second. This bill is absolutely lopsided and uneven 6 ways to Sunday.

7500 EV tax credit update with new bill

the Rivian truck would be my next choice but turns out I don’t qualify for other criteria 😔

7500 EV tax credit update with new bill

If and when this bill passed, I’ll be lookIng at the Rivian or CyberTruck (if that ever arrives). I do wonder how many people are on the same boat as me being a Pure buyer. I don’t want assume all Pure buyers need the 7.5k.

Are you asking if pre-orders before this announcement qualifies the $7.5k? If so, I like to know as well.

    problems and glitches

Many have said this and I echo a similar sentiment. Lucid is a car company first while Tesla a software one, so I’m not overly concerned with the software glitches, especially the advanced features. With that said, this alpha/beta level does seem to been pushed a tad early for a $150k car...

If he says Software Defined one more time, I’m gonna kill somebody. I work in a true SD network comms space and cars are not there yet 😂

    Jon Rettinger's 6 Month Review

Actions speak louder than words. He chose the Rivian. Wouldn’t have been smart to trash Lucid for business/professional reasons. Pretty soon he‘ll sell his Rivian for the next best thing. I don’t believe the Interwebs.

    Warning about BoA loan process

i used Patelco, which is really well known in NorCal but smaller ones may have membership or other requirements. Yelp/Google them.

    Jon Rettinger's 6 Month Review

I agree with this. Even if he did, i don’t think it would amount to much. the Rivian and Lucid are for totally two different purposes, though the former could double as a family car. I sus he just likes the Rivian more.

Too lazy to look it up. How much more is DDP?

    Air Pure standard equipment

I sus this may be the case where the Pure is a bit more toss-able with slightly elevated agility due to the lower weight from less battery and motor. Eg i4/M50.

    Air Pure standard equipment

Definitely get all that but for me personally, some of the items (so far speculated) to be missing like leather, ventilated seats, and lane turn cameras feels like should be standard.
