    Grand Touring Deliveries?

Below is the exact spot in the video where you can see work being done post-production. What they are doing and if it is even an issue is speculation. I've searched the great Interweb for credible claims of fit and finish issues and not found one. Most of what is out there is click bait.

    Grand Touring Deliveries?

Doubtful. You have the park the cars somewhere when they are done. Those GTs will move out in 2-3 days. What Lucid is doing is delivering the remaining Dreams on the lot first. Cars receiving final testing are in the small lot next to the assembly plant. There, Lucid has a tiny test track...

    Grand Touring Deliveries?

This is not surprising. What will surprise many people is when they announce production numbers on the earnings call. Indeed, it will be a very good day.

It is hard to spot, but in newest Bear's Workshop video from 2/16 there is a GT in the third row facing west and four down from the top of the row. You can see it at 7:05 into the video. Can't tell if that is a new GT or if it was there during the previous flyover because you can't see the...

    Air Dream Deliveries?

I have reviewed the Q3 report again and don't see any reference to 2021 production numbers. Perhaps I missed it. As for the quote from your link. That has been mentioned a few times but every official Lucid statement I can find does not state a goal for 2021.

Agreed. And TWO Rick Astley references for emphasis I see! Great song. Horrible music video but then again it was the late 80s. The point is well taken. Thanks for your insights!

    Air Dream Deliveries?

Relying on Social Media to get an accurate car count on a $170,000 car will have a great deal of variation from the actual VIN numbers on the road or in the wild if using the popular phrase. Plenty of these folks don't want anyone to know their business, and have zero interest about having any...

    Air Dream Deliveries?

With approximately 126 Dreams on the lot on Monday, February 14 (two were GTs), they are either delivering the cars out of sequence or there are more than 520 made. Take your pick. Today, Wednesday, February 16, there were at least four with the Aero Range wheels in plain sight. Those are...

    Grand Touring Tracker (Archive)

Lucid made no mention of a Q4 delivery target during their Q3 call. The recording of the Q3 call is archived on the investor page of the Lucid website.

    Grand Touring Deliveries?

Right. You know where I stand on this and up until today I thought we'd have to wait until February 28 to get the answer, but it occurred to me that we won't have to wait until the earnings call. We may only have to wait a couple more days. Up until now all we've seen is a lot of Dream...

    Grand Touring Deliveries?

That would be about the right ratio since there are about 10 times more cars in the Corvette parking lot. From what I remember the last time I was at the Corvette assembly plant, they make just under 200 a day using two shifts.

    Grand Touring Deliveries?

It is all relative. It may be a lot of cars for a brand new car with a wait list. But for comparison sake, here is the Bowling Green, KY assembly plant for the Covette which has a similar ability to produce 20,000 to 40,000 cars depending on how many shifts they run, and it is a similar...

    LCID 2021 Q4 Earnings

I know this is a minority opinion, but the only fit and finish issues I've read about are on the Social Media. Just thinking this through. They delivered 30 Dreams in October. Then we know they delivered 24 more November 13-14 based on what Peter said during their earnings call. Fit and...

    LCID 2021 Q4 Earnings

It depends on what the definition of "Limited" is. There is no implied fixed number to the word. At best, "Limited" means that once they stop making them there will be no more made. How many cars out there have a "Limited" badge on their trunk? Many car makers use the word Limited in various...

    LCID 2021 Q4 Earnings

You are correct. I just listened to the entire call and was surprised by that. They did mention a target of 20,000 by end of 2022 but hedged it by saying there are several supply issues to be concerned with. This is what was said: 1. Peter mentioned the 30 Dream Editions delivered at the...

    LCID 2021 Q4 Earnings

The executive team at Lucid confirmed 577 deliveries on their November 15 call. Just 45 days before the end of the year. In a time frame that short, you would think they would have knowledge on any fit and finish or supply issues, or they wouldn’t make that 577 promise. To me the simplest most...

    LCID 2021 Q4 Earnings

Lucid has been advertising to hire factory workers for a second shift. If they’re parking cars on the lot because they’re waiting on parts or toying with fit and finish why would you start a second shift? To fill up that lot faster? I think you’d keep it to one shift until you work out your...

    LCID 2021 Q4 Earnings

You may be right, and yes, Bear's Workshop thinks they've made more, or perhaps they're just moving cars around on their lot to confuse Bear? But here is the point in Bear's Workshop video where he talks about this issue. He certainly thinks more have been made, perhaps on a boat to Saudi Arabia!

    LCID 2021 Q4 Earnings

I think you may have misunderstood what Peter Rawlinson said, they do all the engineering in-house like Tesla, then they contract out to manufactures to build components to their specs. This is different than buying an "off the shelf" part that a manufacturer makes for any car company who wants...

    LCID 2021 Q4 Earnings

Lose confidence? Hardly. I'm sure that if Lucid announces on their quarterly call that demand for their $169,000 Dream Edition was high so they decided to make a few hundred more, the market is going to react very positive to that. Especially if they confirm that they'll still make 20,000 cars...
