    The software update journey?

I thought the 2.0 updates were suppose to fix the start up issues, change the home buttons to the left of the display etc. I just downloaded 2.0.14 and no changes whatsoever. The boot up time is still slow as a snail and the home buttons are in the same location. Does 2.0.15 make all those...

    Dead Bugs

Cleaning the bugs off is not the issue I have the new xpel reaction ppf on the entire car. Just the fact the car is a magnet for bugs is crazy.

    Dead Bugs

Why is such a aerodynamic car killing so many bugs, was hoping the bugs would fly over the car and not all over my front bumper.

1.2.21 amazing four updates in three days

I have a friend in NYC who got his car 3 days before mine and he has not gotten a single software update his car still has 1.2.17 despite his car saying it is up to date. Seems like Lucid does not roll out all the updates to everyone and staggers them

    Radar Detector Hard Wire Installation?

Got my Uniden R7 today and it works just fine thru the windshield using the usb to cig plug. Just gotta figure out how to hard wire it. BUT just remembered we have no headliner to hide the hard wire.

    Received my Tesla Tap

I hear you, just saying what my rep told me and why all the reps will tell you to use the Lucid portable charger with the 220 plug. As far as being on the road they want you to use Electrify America. Hypo #1 something happens to your car using a 3rd party home charger vs Lucids portable...

    Received my Tesla Tap

Those of us with a tesla home charger don't have to buy another one

    Received my Tesla Tap

Regardless, Lucid would have to prove that was the cause, but who wants to do that even if UL approved it was not made by them.

    Received my Tesla Tap

In speaking with my Lucid rep. re warranty issues, it appears any non Lucid charger can void the warranty weather it be a Tesla Tap with a Tesla charger or a Chargepoint or any other non-Lucid charger. It is no different than Apple and Samsung recommending their own power supplies and not 3rd...

    Radar Detector Hard Wire Installation?

I get my car back from the PPF/tint shop tomorrow and will check it out. I use the blend mount and mirror tap on all my cars. Based on looking at the rear view mirror stock the blend mount could work as you need at least 1" of stock to attach the universal mount. As far as the fuse box dunno. I...

    Radar Detector Hard Wire Installation?

My Valentine V1 does not work and just ordered a Uniden R7. If that does not work guess I will get the Max 360 if it works in our cars. I for one cannot drive without a radar detector and am unwilling to pay 10k to have one installed. Although I can get the Escort custom installed at a decent...

    Radar Detector Hard Wire Installation?

If there is a fuse box behind the rear view mirror I wonder if you can use a "mirror tap"? Provided there is an ignition fuse back there or the mirror itself.

    Car Detail Enthusiasts

Spoke to Customer Care and they don't know what the material is made of, but the Lucid detailer uses a light solvent to clean it. Hence rubbing alcohol should do the trick.
