I turned my bass way down to +1 after the new update. What I have noticed while sitting in the back seat, the volume in the speakers in the rear doors is much louder. This is probably what people are hearing.

What you're hearing up front is the center speaker in the dashboard. I think there's a sub in there. There are also subs in each foot well in the front seats. The system sounds amazing and I loved the original SSPro.
