All Sapphires come with bespoke Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires with low rolling resistance compound at the center and super sticky cup two rubber on the shoulders of the tire. They are 20 inch up front and 21 in the rear staggered

Lucid Air Sapphire goes under 9 seconds at 1/4 Mile track!

Definitely. Also warmer temps, as I do feel the traction control activate even at 60 degrees. I didn't know there was an updated dragy. I'll have to grab one!

    New GT owner in NJ

Congrats and welcome! You're going to love it even more as time goes on. I've been on vacation for the past week and the number one thing I'm looking forward to when I get home is getting back behind the wheel of mine!

Lucid Air Sapphire goes under 9 seconds at 1/4 Mile track!

It gives you the raw data and the data with rollout

Lucid Air Sapphire goes under 9 seconds at 1/4 Mile track!

I don't know but I would assume it includes the rollout and a prepped surface, as is the case for most published acceleration numbers. That being said I've gotten within .2 of that 0-60 time on the street with cold tires in sub 50 degree temps.

Dragy vs Race Box, vs some other

This is accurate. The dragy is great for just measuring acceleration but the racebox is a more substantial device if you are looking for lap times etc. That being said, I prefer the dragy because I only use it on the road and it is tiny and unobtrusive where the racebox is larger than my...

First recorded 60-130 pull. 32 degrees out.

I phrased it wrong! 2.3 seconds raw, 2.1 with rollout. Haven't gotten to clock a 0-100 yet. I'll give it a shot soon!

First recorded 60-130 pull. 32 degrees out.

Meanwhile, in the Sapphire I clocked a 0-60 of 2.1 seconds with 1 foot rollout on the street on the way to pick up dinner 🤣. Car is ridiculous

First recorded 60-130 pull. 32 degrees out.

In motortrends first real test of the production car in Feb it ran a 14.5 at 185.3! Almost identical to prototype

First recorded 60-130 pull. 32 degrees out.

Oh man I wish. I don't have the roads around me to do that, and even if I did that's gonna be approx 180mph!

    Sapphire lease

I went with a lease. Residual value is 103k. Quite a lot of depreciation. Worth every penny so far though. Car is amazing

New Tesla Roadster: Under one second 0-60??

Musk may also just be "knee-jerk" reacting to this to try and get the focus back on him and Tesla. https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a46992150/lucid-air-sapphire-quickest-ev-tested/

New Tesla Roadster: Under one second 0-60??

I'd bet heavily against that 0-60 claim. Article makes good point about the McMurty Spierling. A car that weighs barely over a ton and uses fans to generate massive downforce even at a dead stop can barely crack 1.5 seconds 0-60. I'll believe it when I see it

First recorded 60-130 pull. 32 degrees out.

Absolutely! Day grip to chilly Mexico on a closed course, of course. Car is absolutely rock solid.

First recorded 60-130 pull. 32 degrees out.

Had some wheelspin right off the bat, but hooked surprisingly well considering the temp! Also ran some 0-60's but a ton of wheelspin. Still managed 2.3 with 1 foot rollout. Car is ridiculous
