It does sync. I've found that if I pause the podcast a few seconds before I let the car go to sleep it's more likely to sync the exact point where I stopped listening, but even if I don't my android phone will remember what I was playing and pick up pretty near the end. There's also a setting in...
Aye, thanks! I'll look for a gap there, add a retaining clip and join the old and the new with black gorilla tape until my next service. Thanks for the good eyes!
Shoveling the driveway today (for the fifth day in a row) I found this triangle of plastic, which looks like it came from a car under body. It's got a recessed hole that would match a car retainer clip. It has a ragged edge that looks like it was snapped off after it snagged.
I entirely...
I recall Lucid added payment-options as a part of one's profile on the Lucid website very recently. Perhaps that so they can handle the payment for the plug-and-go for non-promo accounts?
The adhesive I know about attaches the foam rubber gaskets to the duct assembly in the hood. In normal usage one would never see it because the foam gaskets aren't supposed to come off.
When the mobile tech replaced my gaskets he put some silicone lubricant on the plastic where the rubber gaskets on the hood meet the lower plastic surrounding the frunk. He thought it might help and couldn't hurt. I've just avoided opening it on days that have gone from melt to cold for the...
Correct. If you have the free charging promotion you do need need the EA app, nor do you need to create an account with them. You should be able to "plug and charge" without using your phone at all. If that doesn't work, then you open your Lucid app (not EA app) and there will be a button to...
Hey, I did have someone reach out to me and help me get onboard with the purchase. I think I'm the only Lucid in Ann Arbor right now, but I've seen a few in surrounding areas, and I'm sure there's more to come. Reach out if you're in Michigan and we'll see if we can get a group meet-up scheduled.
I don't think so, only because the gasket, which was porous, was fully impregnated with water, which then froze. Imagine coating a dish sponge with grease. When you squeeze it the pores will squoosh out their grease, and then take in water, which can then freeze. In most cars a gasket like...
I noticed this in my test drive and later with my Touring. I'd describe the sound (in both) as a skkkrt sort of like someone drawing a chef's knife across a honing rod briefly. I don't feel it as a judder, only hear it, and I've gotten used to it once I decided it's normal.
Good to hear it isn't a regularly occurring thing for cold weather Lucids. If it becomes a recurring problem I might try to source some silicone molding, but on days where it's not rain transitioning into ice I imagine it won't be a problem at all.
Had a bit of a bummer this morning when trying to open my frunk: it had frozen shut. After the automatic opener strained mightily for awhile it still failed to open, but was ajar enough that the car sensed it as open. Since the car "thought" it was open pressing the button on the phone or in...
Goddamit! After repeated testing I think @Adnillien is entirely right, and I was mistaking "door handles have lifted up invitingly" for "unlocked". The times when the door was actually open were probably right before the "stop charging"/"start charging" cycles that "worked". Thanks for saving...
There's a small black pin, retracted and circled in red on the photo below, that extends to hold the J1772 retainer latch down, so you can't raise the latch by pressing the button on the charger. With each of the original Lucid charger, my Grizzl-E, and a few public chargers I've found myself...
