    Lucid tesla adapter

I think it's best to wait for Lucid's NACS to CCS adapter announcement. Details will become clearer.

Android Mobile App 2.3.2 (Updated 5/20/25) - Notice any changes?

Mine has stuck on "Unrestricted" since your post, so most of a day so far. I've enabled Mobile Key as part of my test, don't know if that made a difference.

    2.6.11 Update

Hey, I wouldn't buy one - just answering @borski 's question, perhaps too tersely. :)

Anyone know of bidirectional charging status?

Additional hardware and typically a somewhat expensive installation, depending on the details of your home.

    2.6.11 Update

2.43 inches, like the other industrial receptacles.

    Gravity test drive

Though leases may become cheaper later on.

    Lucid Navigation vs Google Maps

Makes sense. BTW Google maps for Android Automotive (AAOS, the underlying OS used by Lucid and many others) does provide Waze-like notifications of police, accidents, road hazards, etc. Several other car manufacturers do support an app store in their user interface. Our AAOS Volvo, for...

Android Mobile App 2.3.2 (Updated 5/20/25) - Notice any changes?

Thanks, I'll give it a try to see if "Unrestricted" sticks. An "improvements and enhancements" guessing game for us.

Can a Gravity use any and all Tesla superchargers?

V3 and V4 supercharger stalls compatible with Gravity and other non-Tesla EVs will list a power rating of 250kW or greater. Below 250kW, it's a V2 or V1 stall, and it doesn't have the software smarts to be compatible.

    Lucid Navigation vs Google Maps

The Air is a wonderful car. Its infotainment software is definitely a work in progress. Personally, I'm hoping for UX improvements by OTA later this year - at least to better separate the functions of the upper and lower screens. I'm a heavy Google Maps user and sorely miss it in my Air. We...

    Lucid tesla adapter

Depending where you live, I don't think there is a reason to wait for the Air to get access to Superchargers before buying. There are actually far more CCS charging locations than Supercharger locations, and their uptime / reliability has been improving. There are currently about 10,000 CCS DC...

Possible Unintended Acceleration of my Lucid Air

I felt what seemed to be acceleration once, when it was actually just the car's strong regenerative braking shutting down for a second due to a sudden loss of traction, allowing the car to coast. The transition from deceleration to coasting felt exactly like a strong acceleration. It can happen...

    Lucid tesla adapter

It's easy to appreciate both, though they are very different - the Model 3 Performance is a fun, stripped-down hot rod, while the Air offers sophisticated power, speed and handling.

    Android Auto Thursday

Android Auto is perfect for a rental car. Android Automotive with native Google Maps, voice Assistant (soon to be Gemini LLM) and an app store is perfect for a primary daily driver.

    Charger FAQ/Explanation

The Air uses about 0.25kWh to 0.3kWh per mile driven. Multiply those numbers by the miles you drove, and add 10% for charging losses, to get a rough idea of how many kWh your home charging used.

Supercharging. Explain it to me like I'm five years old

I've been charging our Volvo at Superchargers on a few road trips in recent months. Usually we're the only non-Tesla EV there. Maybe most EV owners aren't interested, don't want to buy an adapter, or ??

    Lucid tesla adapter

Adapters are named from the source to the destination, so Gravity would come with a CCS to NACS adapter and a J1772 to NACS adapter.

Lucid Air's Number One Software Issue?

The Air's software will likely be markedly improved later this year by OTA, borrowing from the advances made for Gravity. Just my opinion after 2.5 years of ownership and paying close attention. It's usable now but could clearly be better.
