A late reply on this, but I finally did an evening drive with the Carlinkit. It automatically changes from day to night mode around sunset time.

Mine is set on Unrestsricted. I've never changed it, didn't even know this setting was here. Samsung phone.

I always find it really interesting to learn the origin of phrases. They're often things you'd never expect. Given the sizes of a pig and a cat, and the way they move and sound, you wouldn't think that substituting one for the other would fool too many people!

I'm guessing ambient lighting is what we have in the Airs now, in the trims other than the Pure. When I had my car in for service six months ago, no Lucid loaners were available and I ended up with a Mercedes EQE from Enterprise. That car had lighting you could set to any color of the rainbow...

That's a lot of Lucids!

I know. I still look forward to driving mine all the time, it's one of the best parts of my days! And I've had a Lucid since December of 2022. You'd think I'd be at least a little bit nonchalant about it by now.

Not really. I tried playing with different settings, but it's tough to get them to fully separate. That's Loki.

The carlinkit isn't wireless. It has to be plugged in via USB.

There is no Android Auto icon in the Lucid. The car sees the Carlinkit signal as Apple CarPlay. Mine comes up automatically, but if it doesn't hit the Apple CarPlay icon at the right edge of the cockpit panel
