Yes, Installed original Pirelli Zero tires are special make for Lucid only. I am not aware that Lucid recommends any alternate tires. It is good to know if alternate tires are available.

No, the foam has a gap in all tires, but I don't know why. I had to replace two tires. Both had the gap as well as the new ones. This is a reject tire because of the nail, showing the gap.

I wouldn't advise mixing different wheels or tires.

Tesla Model S 19" tire fits well within the trunk. Tesla 21" front wheel should fit in the trunk as well. Mine is in the garage and just got the wheel cover. When I store it in the trunk, I will post it.

These tires cost about $500+ to replace. Just for a nail puncture, it is a very expensive repair.

I must have been an unlucky one. I had so many flat tires on highways. Most of my cars in past had full spares. Since I had Models S, I carried a full spare. With Lucid I didn't till I got into trouble. It is always safe to carry a full spare, I believe.

One can get by with flashers on at 50m/hr on highway in an emergency. However that WILL NOT solve your situation unless you have your own spare.

The tire repair kit is a temporary solution. I believe it would inflate the tire if the defect is less than .24 inch, probably with gel. You can drive upto 50 miles at a speed of 50M/Hr to the nearest auto shop. Then the Lucid Service will send you a new tire on your request. Lucid repair...

For DeaneG: I thought the same thing. Lucid tire has 3cm foam inside the tire and the Lucid Service told me that the tires need replacement and cannot be repaired. I will post a picture of inside the tire soon.
