I also had trouble programming the HomeLink. The instructions say park the car outside in front of the garage door. After a half-dozen tries, no joy. Then I moved the Lucid Air into the garage. That worked. I'm just hoping this helps others having difficulty with HomeLink.

If still available, we are interested and we are in Chicago area.

We are also looking for mats for Lucid Air Touring. A DM would be fine.

Thanks for the reply. I'm new here, but I'm assuming that "plug" logo means "Magic Dock." Maybe "not a lot" but I count four of them in a ten mile radius on this particular map of the Northwest Chicago Suburbs.

Here's a screenshot of Tesla's "findus" supercharger map. Note that there is the usual red lightening symbol and another symbol that looks like the business end of a plug. The Tesla sites that show that "plug" logo have the notice I quoted: " This Supercharger is Open to Tesla and NACS Enabled...

Colonel. Yes, understood. But I thought I saw that Lucid was on that list this autumn. I can't find that now.

As to adapters, I found this (see attached photo) on Amazon. It looks like it will plug into the Lucid. And remember the Tesla quote I posted which said that (some) Tesla Superchargers could be used with an adapter. But I guess that isn't enough. Does that mean that the car itself has to have...

I'm hoping this is not merely redundant. I know lots of owners have been posting about charging at North American Charging Standard (NACS or Tesla) supercharging locations. I'm hoping to bring a new facet to those discussions. We are previous Tesla owners and we are impressed with the scope...

New owner here. Most of this thread is glovebox lock in a wished-for valet mode. While we're wishing, valet mode should also lock trunk and frunk.

Tesla owner here...about to become a Lucid owner (Enough Elon! ENOUGH!). I'm surprised to hear this "out-of-town" thread that may have stopped the car from updating. The Tesla I'm replacing updates while in the garage. I got a notice, and it does the update at 2:00 AM.

We are early adopters. We bought a Tesla about 6 years ago and we never had to worry about finding a charging station. We're ready for a new EV and it won't be a Tesla. We charge overnight in a garage about 95% of the time. But we do occasionally take long road trips of more than 500 miles...

So many Electrify America problems reported here. I have a Tesla and next car won't be Tesla. Looking at Lucid. But, Electrify America...So many problems. Had one minor problem in thousands of miles with Tesla's network and that was just slow charrging. And: do customers know when you sign up...

Throttling back the charge rate may be standard for EVs. I have a Tesla and when the charge level is low, the charge rate is very fast. It slows down considerably nearing maximum charge at Tesla superchargers.
