    Unlocking with mobile key unreliable

Family member has new iPhone Lucid app. We put the fob in a faraday cage. Yet our Lucid Air Touring smugly locks them out in cold, outdoor parking lots.

    Unlocking with mobile key unreliable

It's cold and snowy in Chicago. The inability to open the doors while standing in a cold parking lot is simply unacceptable. Will try service next.

    Software Improvements and Features Suggestions

We can agree to disagree. Just as a point of reference, Brand X lets the mirrors autofold when approaching "home." It has saved many a scratch or worse.

Are We Asking the Wrong Question About Charging?

The unit was rated at 350 kW. Sorry, I didn't track energy (kWh) or actual rate of the session (kW).

Are We Asking the Wrong Question About Charging?

Mea culpa. Well, mea almost culpa. We're new to Lucid...about 2 months in. We are aware of the early day reports of nightmares with Electrify America (EA)/Lucid charging. We always charge at home garage to 80%. We decided to charge at EA while we had 50% charge just to try it and use it...

    Nervous new Lucid AT owner

We're a 2 Tesla family before moving to Air. But unlike you, we had a Model S when they were pretty new and we suffered through software glitch after software glitch. We are disappointed in some of the software problems in the Air...but we're comfortable that they will be resolved. We like...

    Unlocking with mobile key unreliable

Thanks Why!. My Pixel 6 just updated to Android 15 and slow wake-up returned. I had to wait at least a minute. Wi-Fi is turned off. I don't know if it will continue to take that long to wake up or if that was a one-time nuisance.

    Software Improvements and Features Suggestions

I hope we don't get caught in the Brand X infotainment update jungle. Their user interface seems to change monthly leaving the user searching for things they finally learned how to do.

    Cars and Software

I think there is complaining and there is "b*tch*ng. I think almost everyone on these forums wants Lucid to succeed. Constructive complaining might be positive for the company.

Thanks. I and many others appreciate how responsive you are. I wonder if you have an opinion on a related subject: Why does the car have to go to sleep? Is it because of safety? Are there moving parts that might wear out if the car doesn't sleep? Of is it only useful for reducing vampire...

Buffalo: I think what you're suggesting fits the data. I will give it a try. On the other hand, I'm not so sure that we didn't have this problem before 2.5.x.

Thanks hmp. We are in violent agreement. We had similar experiences with early software on the Model S. In other posts I noted that I am a car owner and shareholder. We are rooting for Lucid to succeed. I was not aware that Rawlinson is now focusing on software and that he made public...

Hi hy. That's an interesting suggestion. But if we do that, will we still get Over The Air (OTA) updates?

    Cars and Software

I'm reflecting on my own post now. Pairing is a Bluetooth thing. Remote wakeup is an Internet thing. The more I think about this, it seems the glitch appears when trying to wake the car up when it is both in Bluetooth range and WiFi range.I can't prove that, but my software gut tells me the...
