At some point, once there are GT deliveries to reference, it may be possible to understand the progression through the steps...reservation, confirmation, DA communications, pencils, VIN, request for payment, delivery. Or maybe not.

Pencils came today. All my kids (4) can draw. My wife can draw. I can't draw. I may have these pencils a long time.

Tyson, NYC, Oak Brook. Closest three to me, though all are 400-500 miles away. Either a plane ride, or no test drive.

Thanks for all the input on the red. I won't change my order until after my visit to the Tyson Studio on 2/20. If I switch from grey to red, maybe somebody will get their grey a little sooner.

The pictures don't make it look like "arrest me red", looks much less conspicuous. I am curious if the red changes with the lighting. Some dark reds get kind of brownish in the shade, which I don't care for.

I ordered Grey, but I am getting some pressure from the family to switch to red. I haven't seen an Air in person yet. Studio visit scheduled in a couple of weeks, closest one is 400 miles away. I am hoping there is enough to see at the Studio to finalize the color.

I made an appointment for a visit to the Tyson Studio on 2/20. I was told to not expect a test drive on that visit.

One of the downsides to the fix a flat / compressor plan is that the fix a flat will most likely destroy the TPMS sensor.

My original order was 9/3/21. Asked to confirm on 11/30. Confirmed 12/17. Spoke with DA 1/7, was told 2-4 months. No further contact.

On the DE delivery thread, @Adnillien posts that I just received an email from my DA saying the GT production has started and he is still sticking to delivery by the end of February for my GT that was confirmed on 11/3. I hope that this is accurate. If accurate (Big IF) then this info and...

I confirmed in mid December. Sales guy said 2-4 months. Then I spoke with the DA in early January. DA also said 2-4 months...from early January. I get it. It's hard to know how long something is going to take if you've never done it before.

Using @Sandvinsd numbers I end up with about 1500 GT's. With @LRSIII info maybe it gets to 2000. I was just curious about a ballpark number. Thanks for the input.

At some point the factory needs to be able to produce GT, Touring and Pure models at the same time. Has anyone been asked to confirm any trim level other than DE and GT?

So the DE number was well known. Has there been any indication, or does anyone have a WAG on how many GT reservations there are?

At least a few of them. Good by me.

I had magnesium alloy wheels on a race car once. They were incredibly light. It was a small light vehicle though, 1000 pounds. I don't know if magnesium wheels could be designed for a 5000 pound sedan. Maybe @Bill55 knows some wheel people in the racing community that would consider making some.
