the taycan is a great road tripping car. it's charging rate is better than the Lucid's. while the lucid will allow you to skip the initial charge stop a taycan will make that advantage is gone on longer road trips that require multiple charge stops.

I went from a 4s to an AIr GT, while I am pleased with the Lucid there really is nothing that drives like a porsche. IMHO the Lucid is an upgraded Tesla S. if you are ok with giving up the sports car ride of the taycan for a more sedan like ride of the Lucid you will be fine in a Lucid.

all EVs will taper the charge speed once hitting 80% soc or so. your assertion to not be below 20% SOC is off base, the lower the SOC the fast the charging can be. as long as you are confident that the place you will be charging at is reliable there is nothing bad about going way below 20%...

my dealership was 40 minutes away and visits for upgrades were never quick, minimum of a full day or longer. that is one huge flaw inherent to the taycan

WPB to MIA isn't very far, you shouldn't need a charge. FPL chargers are usually reliable but some are slower than others. get plugshare to see where you can charge

are you aware that there are many other options for charging other than EA chargers? do you use www.plugshare.com? with a little advance planning you can drive almost anywhere in the US with your car.
