It’s neither unexplained nor unexpected. If you have cruise control or HA engaged the car will accelerate when traffic clears. If you have charged to 100% regen is not available.

I still get complaints via the Lucid interface. "sounds like you are in a tunnel". I haven't tried CarPlay and TBH even if CarPlay is better it's only a workaround. I would like for the audio to be sorted when placing calls directly from Lucid software.

It's very difficult with the updated HA to determine what amount of resistance is needed on the steering wheel to make HA aware that your hand is on the wheel while not steering. Consequently I either end up gently moving the car in the lane or getting yelled at to put my hands on the wheel...

Bummer! Do you have tidal or other streaming within the Lucid interface to test when SXM stops? Curious if it is all streaming or only SXM. Not sure about CarPlay / Homelink as I don't use CarPlay. I do know that if the LTE module is offline so is geolocating so it the garage dropdown wont present.
