Android users, can you check this setting? (Unrestricted background battery)

With these actions, my Pixel 9 seems to be holding on Unrestricted. I'm hoping that this was the result of adding the Lucid app to the list of Essential Apps. I'm now going to try turning adaptive battery back on, as well as the standard battery saver. If it then fails again, I'll turn off...

Android users, can you check this setting? (Unrestricted background battery)

Very interesting indeed. I just checked the app, and six hours after setting the app to Unrestricted, it's back to Optimized. All on its own. I'm trying a couple things next. First, I turned Adaptive Battery off, which I know you said was unsuccessful. Then, I turned off Battery Saver...

Android users, can you check this setting? (Unrestricted background battery)

Interesting. I'll report back on this, but at almost three hours, it's still toggled on Unrestricted. BTW, I wonder if this might possibly have something to do with the app's common laggy auto open issue.

Android users, can you check this setting? (Unrestricted background battery)

Aha! Same here! It was running Optimized and just switched it. I wonder if it turning back to Optimized has to do with us having 'Use Adaptive Battery' turned at the bottom of the phone's general Battery settings.

Android users, can you check this setting? (Unrestricted background battery)

I have a Pixel 9 up to date on Android 15. My app's settings has the background usage toggle, which is turned on, but there are no /Unrestricted buttons beneath it. Just on or off for the background usage itself.

    Mobile key unlocking delay

Actually, Borski, the above is the statement that I most disagree with. Historically speaking, it seems to me that Lucid pays attention to this forum more than any other feedback loop short of a phone call to the office of the CEO. They have no better view into pervasive issues by objective...

    Hyundai Free NACS Adapter

Really? You don't think most Air owners feel a little lost in the shuffle to Gravity? My confidence is low enough to potentially waste my money buying one rather than waiting and hoping.

    Hyundai Free NACS Adapter

Nice move on Hyundai's part! Why do I increasingly have the feeling that Lucid is more likely to send Gravity owners a gas cap than sending Air owners a NACS adapter? It's tough being the first-born when mom and dad shift all their focus to the baby.

Saatoga Lefty's 'Hyundai Free NACS Adapter' Thread

On Saratoga Lefty's original post this evening, I discovered that I have 'insufficient privileges to reply here'. That's a new one on me... Is this because I haven't ordered a Gravity yet? Is it my Pixel phone? Tell me it's not because I've been writing about the number of days since the...

Days Since The Last Major Feature Release... Yikes!

Within the various threads about OTA Updates, there is one fairly frequent comment that I find extremely disturbing, and I even see it stated by some of the forum's regulars. That statement is that it is somehow conceivable, and even acceptable, that Lucid might walk away from completing their...

    Charging meter distracting

Interesting, but everyone reacts to things like this in different ways. I don't find itat all distracting, but am happy to see the clear information it provides, as I think it has helped me improve the efficiency of my driving. My problem is with the lack of that feedback when cruise control...

Recommended Touring mi/kWh to use with ABRP?

The key thing you didn't say is how fast you drive when you are traveling on highways. Without that, it's hard to give you a figure. 80 MPH vs. 65 MPH makes a world of difference. Your average of 3.2 suggests that your foot might have a little lead in it.

I currently have a Telsa cable (at home charging), what adaptor can I use to charge a Lucid Air Pure?

Are any of these robust enough to handle high speed charging at a Tesla charging station when/if it becomes available for the Air?

    Little gifts after test drives

I got a test drive invitation by email yesterday, and was surprised to see that Scottsdale was not on the list. Given the proximity to the factory, the sizeable number of local Airs, and all of the nice tax incentives that AZ threw at Lucid, who'da thunk?

Anyone up for auto insurance rate comparisons?

My agent checked Travelers, among others. The vehicles came in a little cheaper, despite the Tempe risk premium, but our condo and and umbrella premiums were much higher. I get at least some part of these dramatic increases to home and auto premiums, but the relative jump of umbrella insurance...

Anyone up for auto insurance rate comparisons?

On your recommendation, I did get a quote from Pure. Their vehicle and umbrella coverage was a pretty reasonable increase given their premium service reputation, but our condo was the killer. While the HOA's blanket coverage would handle everything up to the drywall, they amount Pure wanted...

Anyone up for auto insurance rate comparisons?

Switching both cars from a $2,500 deductible to $5,000 would have saved me a whopping $34/year! I may bitch about my overall insurance bill, but the one major claim I've had in my life was such a surprisingly favorable experience. I was with National General at the time, and there was a major...

We used to live about a mile S of Pinnacle Peak. Over time, the kids & grandkids moved to WA, so it was time to downsize into a 'lock and leave' closer to the airport. I also wanted to shift my exercise to less hiking and more rowing, so we bought a condo on Tempe Town Lake. The dearth of...

Anyone up for auto insurance rate comparisons?

Wish I could. I was 1A for a full year in the early 70s, but never got called up, despite a middling lottery number. We lived in Saratoga for 12 years, and we had great rates there, as well. The party was over for the cars that we moved to Arizona.

Anyone up for auto insurance rate comparisons?

Curious to see if my situation is typical. I'm sharing a lot of detail (maybe too much?), but history and coverage differences can have a huge impact. 2023 Lucid Air Pure AWD - MSRP of $96.6k, but paid $75.2k + tax & fees. (Was told that my insurer (Acuity) insisted on insuring at MSRP...
