How Old Are You In Years…Not In Attitude?

I live in the woods so this is their habitat. I guess they're just Lucid fanboys (fanmice?).

    Shock and Tilt Alarm

Just received a false-positive "Shock & Tilt Alert - Invasion detected" while car was parked in my garage. Called CS, they took note and said to call back if it happens again.

OMG I just love my Lucid!! Do you?

After 4,000 miles owning an Air, I’m amazed that the pleasure I derive from driving it has increased to such an extent. I never knew driving a car could be so much fun. Thank you Peter.

And just a heads-up, white-footed mice are vectors for black-legged ticks, (aka deer ticks) so another reason to show them the exit door.

How Old Are You In Years…Not In Attitude?

IMO, there's no way to prevent them from going wherever they want. Also, it's inadvisable to lay out poison because (1) if they die where you wouldn't want, they'll stink up the place badly and (2) if they die in the wild and Mr. Owl eats the dead mouse, then so too will Mr. Owl.

How Old Are You In Years…Not In Attitude?

Yes, living in the Boondocks with lots of wild critters for neighbors. The mice are like threading a camel through the eye of a needle; they can go anywhere they desire. I first noticed some Kleenex tissue in the car was shredded so I figured traps were in order. Another problem is wiring...

    ceramic coating in Westchester

To paraphrase Butterfly McQueen in Gone With the Wind, "I don't know nothin' 'bout ceramic coating", but a friend who races Porsches, recommended a detailer in Brewster, Q-Tipp Treatment. They charged $1,250 for a 6-year treatment of SystemX. I thought it looked good.

    Auto Park

Thank you for providing your tips. When I attempted, speed was 3 mph. Car has DDP. I was using auto-park in areas where there were no other cars, if that matters. Service says that he’ll look at it on his next visit.

    Auto Park

I've attempted a dozen times to use auto-park and it's never worked. It just keeps looking for a space. It's easier to just park it myself. Car has 2.1.47.

    Hunting wild Lucid Airs

Since receiving delivery last April, I haven't seen any others until this one last week in Chelsea with a temp plate. Mine is same color and metal roof. It made me smile. When I drove through intersections, with clusters of pedestrians waiting to cross, I could feel dozens of eyes on the car.

Roof rack attachment cover fell off

The first and only time I used an automated car wash, two trim pieces were blown off from the roof, and disappeared, by the force of the dryer-blower. The trim are removable if you want to install a roof rack. Contacted the service center who sent the trim pieces and I installed them myself...

    Lucid Pickup?

I agree that Rivian appears to know what they’re doing, but their truck is too big for my needs. I want a mid-size workhorse pickup. If Canoo or Telo could get their act together, then I might consider them, but they both seem aspirational at this point. A Lucid pickup seems like a silly...

    Lucid Pickup?

I don’t understand the target market segment for premium pickup. I currently have a Honda Ridgeline in addition to the Air. I use the pickup to haul trash to the dump and other types of similar jobs. I’m looking forward to getting a Toyota EPU, but dealer doesn’t have any info yet on a release...

I, too, had a stuck frunk. Called support who directed me to reboot the car. Then I was able to close frunk.
