What would you like to see from the Lucid mobile app?

Turn on seat heating/cooling and steering wheel heater remotely (like Tesla)

P variant of Grand Touring with over 1,000hp?

From what I’ve seen out on the roads, it’s not usually the expensive high-horsepower cars that are being driven by nut-job street racers. It’s the chopped Civics and Subarus. Porsche 911 Twin Turbos and Nissan GT-Rs always seem to drive relatively slowly….

P variant of Grand Touring with over 1,000hp?

I am happy, definitely! Plus gold!

P variant of Grand Touring with over 1,000hp?

If it really has “over 1,000 hp,” the class action lawsuit by DE owners is inevitable….

    “Sleep”… “Waking up” with 1.2.1

Totally agree. I spent an hour on the phone with customer service about this yesterday. They had me try to delete the mobile key and then reinstall it…but I kept getting an error and they couldn’t figure it out. Proximity sensor now works with the key fob, but car still goes to sleep so quickly...

Setting up Alexa in the Lucid Air

Oh, you’re just getting started with the weirdness…Wait til you have to hang up a call that didn’t answer. The steering wheel button doesn’t work to hang up if the call didn’t answer, so you have to hit the phone icon on the top screen, open the phone app, and then hit the hang up button. It’s...

    Aero inserts on 21 rims

I would have said “none of us will ever reach those speeds,” but I’m not convinced of that - I hit 118 mph the other day just accelerating to go from far right to far left lane on I-25 in Denver. I wouldn’t want those covers flying off. How much range are they really going to add?

    Range question

When I took delivery of my Air DE, I wanted to make sure it was ok to use my 50A Tesla wall charger in my garage to charge the Lucid. The delivery advisor told me that they did not recommend using the Tesla Tap to convert a Tesla charger over to use in a Lucid because of fire hazard. (??)...

Setting up Alexa in the Lucid Air

Are you running 1.2.1? That’s what allowed me to suddenly make calls with Alexa.

Setting up Alexa in the Lucid Air

Change radio station works, turn on seat heaters, works. "Open front trunk" or "open frunk" does not work for me. I tried ordering something from Amazon while driving, but that didn't work (which might be good!). . Since 1.2.1, Alexa no longer understands the command "raise the rear window...

    “Sleep”… “Waking up” with 1.2.1

Guys, do you mean you deleted your profile(s) and then created new profile for yourself? Or just deleted access and then re-created access? I haven't done either of these, maybe that's why 1.2.1 is causing me complications for unlocking/waking up.

Has anyone replaced tires on Lucid Air?

    1. Bulge in sidewall 2. Yes (well, Lucid did it for me free of charge and they’re sending to Pirelli) 3. No charge 4. Lucid service 5. At my home 6. Yes

    “Sleep”… “Waking up” with 1.2.1

Well, glad to know it’s not just my individual car. How ironic, since 1.2.1 was supposed to provide BETTER access. This does not bode well for Lucid software developers…

    “Sleep”… “Waking up” with 1.2.1

The last few days have been extremely frustrating trying to “wake” or unlock the car. Probably because I intentionally stopped planning ahead just to see how it works if I treat it like a normal car. The car is virtually always “asleep”, so the car takes inordinately long to respond. It is...

    Anyone on 1.2.1?

Service guy who changed my tire at my home last week says they are working on this….

Lucid Air Touring or Tesla Model S LR

Same here. I suspect it is the weight of the Air. But Pirelli Sottozero is a fantastic snow tire on the Model S, which although 400 pounds lighter than the Air is still a very heavy car.

Lucid Air Touring or Tesla Model S LR

Great question. Here’s what a “bulge” looks like on the outside. Presumably this could happen on the inside and the owner would not even see it. So I guess we should periodically feel the inside sidewall as best we can? Also FYI, my technician replaced my tire free of charge as a warranty...

Lucid Air Touring or Tesla Model S LR

I do not think so -- I think that gap between foam strips is in all of these 21" Pirelli tires. The Lucid service guy who was changing the tire at my home showed me the foam inside the tires and mine also had that gap. (my tire was not plugged, it had a "bulge" in it). All 21" tire owners...

Lucid Air Touring or Tesla Model S LR

But some slightly comforting news: Lucid has access to these Pirelli tires and the service is FANTASTIC. I had the “bulge” appear in the front left 21” Pirelli tire of my DE after 450 miles.(see photo). Lucid swept in with a device technician coming to my home and replacing the Pirelli, at no...
