I have never stated that I was canceling my order, I only quoted others in their statement that the process seems obscure. I have just taken the advice above and asked if it is possible for me to cancel my confirmed order and get my $300 back. I will advise with what I learn.

1 motor vs 2 means less horsepower... Unless Lucid uses a higher performance motor in the Pure than the Touring, which I doubt.

So, we've now all seen the Pure introduction. Do we know: does the Pure have a power frunk? Does the Pure have window shades? What is the HP of the single motor version of the Pure? Lots of sizzle, not much meat.

From my reading of the Lucid site, I believe that the Pure AWD will be 480 hp, and the RWD will be "less."

Has anyone else noticed that the Lucid website now reads; "Up to 480 hp, rear-wheel drive with available all wheel drive." My read on this is that the AWD version will now have 480 hp, and the RWD version will have less. I guess that we will learn more later today.

480 HP is more than enough for me. Dual motor means more power consumption per mile. I drive from Fort Myers, Florida to Boston, Massachusetts, and back, every year, and never in the snow. Therefore, unless Lucid has a different battery configuration for the Pure dual motor vs the single motor...

True, but charging while away from home has got to work, or the car is useless. I find it very concerning that problems with EA and Lucid keep cropping up, but i have not heard of any issues with Porsche, Kia, or Rivian charging at EA stations.
