How Did You First Become Aware of Lucid?

I saw Lucid several years ago in a Shopping Mall show room (aka "studio"). Major one, indoors (Tysons Corner, Virginia). I kept going back there (almost) every time I went shopping at that mall, admiring the Air. I just could not afford it. Until last month :)

Encounter Extraordinary - NYC March 28-30

I live in a heavily electrified area of US (see my profile to the left of these words). A lot of Teslas (I am sure more than Corollas). A lot of Rivians too. My commute is 46 miles round trip five days a week. If I see a single Lucid in one week of driving, I am lucky. And there are two Studios...

Days Since The Last Major Feature Release... Yikes!

    I think it’s just one guy. 30 hours a week part-time 😂

    There goes my baby!

Beautiful! Santa Cruz interior is the best. Black exterior is the second best (after Zenith Red, obviously). Best of luck with the delivery. Enjoy your new wheels

Yes. Is that rare? I did not know

    Mobile key unlocking delay

Exactly my thoughts. It’s a problem, let’s face it. I am not trying to dismiss your pain, but the solution is simple although I understand it’s hardship for most people in this day and age: Pull up you phone, app, and press unlock button. I can cope. I totally understand this a hardship for...

Deals for Leasing a New Air

No haggling. You would get substantial discounts for onsite vehicle (aka inventory), but everyone can get those, not just you. Talk to a Lucid rep locally.

    First Reboot

Very similar situation with you. I try to use Lucid built in apps as much as I can, and it's working... You may notice there is a Podcast app built in (Pocket Cast). It is decent. It has replaced my Apple podcasts almost entirely. It takes a few minutes to create an account, then log in the...

Disappointing sales process causing me to pause

I think this has to do with monthly offers / deals, as they may change in April. I recall when I leased my Touring in February, I was told I must take delivery by 2/28 for the deal to still be valid.

    Roon Ready

If you only do DSD, wouldn’t it be only logical to buy a natively DSD capable DAC? Please don’t tell me there is no such thing. I agree with you. Listening to the music in the car is not exactly audiophile thing to do Never tried this in four rooms, but I did try in two, I always went back to...

    Roon Ready

Love your post! I paid for Lifetime Roon in July 2018 $499 . Best purchase I have ever made in this hobby. No signal distortion of any types. By the way, I have spent way more in my home audio than my 2025 Air Touring. Do the math. I know what I am talking about

    Roon Ready

Roon? Nobody is familiar with Roon, except perhaps you and me. Lifetime Roon subscriber since 2018. I can tell you, there is no such thing as “Roon Ready” in a car. Not possible. Roon ARC app, yes, possible. Do you know that Lucid has Apple CarPlay and there is a Roon Arc with it? You can...

Interior temp double exterior temp with glass roof

You will need to get those Sunshades for glass roof @DeaneG linked above. They are not terribly expensive. I also got the front windshield: https://store.lucidmotors.com/lucid-air-sunshade-windshield/ . Which I have to tell is really build like a tank, very substantial, and pretty (with Lucid...

    This I like...Things I don't...Things I miss as a former Tesla M3 owner

I was talking about 360 degree view in your pilot screen. Not the driver assist. If it is 2025 Air Touring, it comes with DD Premium at no extra charge: Introducing Lucid’s DreamDrive™ Premium advanced driver-assistance system. 3D Surround View Monitoring and Blind Spot Display are just two of...
