Some UI screenshots - Gravity software v. 3.07

I assume it is the same as on the Tesla -- it moves the wipers to a convenient location for service. (See M3 manual: https://service.tesla.com/docs/Public/diy/model3/en_us/GUID-949BFDA4-8D73-43A6-AAA5-98AE1129AC25.html) Do you "have to" do it? I guess no, but it makes changing/cleaning a lot...

    Gravity Delivery Discussion

That supports that this is a tariff rather than production issue, since the KSA/UAE final build is done in KSA. If so, that also means it's not necessarily a long wait in the US, as the tariff situation is changing daily and there is a lot of economic pressure to end this madness (without...

Nice. Do KSA/UAE get Dream Editions, or is that a US-only thing? (It doesn't show in the configurator if I switch regions, so I'm guessing not.)

Yes, at least three forum members have reported being notified for a production schedule and projected delivery date: https://lucidowners.com/threads/gravity-delivery-discussion.10959/post-264591 https://lucidowners.com/threads/gravity-delivery-discussion.10959/post-263633...

Lucid will not offer heads-up display on Gravity GT (for now)

I feel like that would be a less attractive vehicle overall, although it's a balance. Some of us are getting a 3-row SUV because... we need a 3-row SUV.

Lucid will not offer heads-up display on Gravity GT (for now)

An interesting question now is what sort of priority there will be on getting the HUD software working. With only 450 vehicles with the hardware for the near term, I imagine that fixes and features will fall down the list vs. closing gaps on functionality that will affect all however many they...

Lucid will not offer heads-up display on Gravity GT (for now)

Yes, that's explicitly in the mail advising of the change. If you need HUD + dynamic ambient lighting right now, you can get a DE.

Wow, that's uncharacteristically awesome transparency! (Why didn't they say that all to start?)

    Gravity Test Drive writeup

Thanks for the awesome write up! You will live in our memories forever as the first forum test drive... My SA is on vacation until the 1st so I'm trying hard not to text until he gets back asking when they're going to have one here in MA.

Lucid will not offer heads-up display on Gravity GT (for now)

There's lots of possible theories -- I posted some in the other thread. Maybe the HUD hardware doesn't perform to spec and will need to be replaced in a future service campaign, so they're minimizing the number of units in the field. Maybe after the press launch there wasn't enough forum...

    Gravity Delivery Discussion

Fascinating. So, the 120V plugs are still available at a lesser upcharge. The dynamic lighting seems like a weird trim differentiation that I doubt is a differentiator for anyone. The real difference is the HUD being DE only. That doesn't make sense from a general business perspective. The...

    Gravity Test Drive writeup

A harder question, what did you dislike about the vehicle, other than the parking non-assist? (I've never seen a good parking assist. The closest is Tesla, which I would rank as "sometimes ok".)

Test Drive vehicles - San Jose 4/24/25

Interesting to note that the showroom/demo vehicles so far are 007333, 007507, and 008680. Ive seen it mentioned elsewhere that Lucid VINs are randomized, but I wonder if we can just ignore the last two digits and (at least for 2025) those are vehicles numbered 73, 75, and 86.

Nice touch that the frunk seat upholstery matches the vehicle trim.

Test Drive vehicles - San Jose 4/24/25

Here's a thread with the VIN structure -- the interesting thing will be all the values for vehicle attributes, "G1GHJ" above. G - Gravity 1 - 1st generation G - GT trim H - drive unit; "H" seems to be the code for GT, and DE will be different J - body type?

that's the check-digit. It's a parity validation for the entire VIN.

    Interesting -- that's a 2025 VIN.

OK, you've been back for at least 20 minutes now, why are there not videos and 20 page reports yet? Don't you know people on this forum on constantly hitting refresh for updates?
