Windshield Crack - Not Covered by Warranty

Actually they do…even though they are not supposed to. Insurance can also drop you for too many claims on glass, even if chips. The clue report does not specify if it is a chip or replacement, just says below or greater then $1000. Insurance companies will try to scam you anyway they can. They...

Windshield Crack - Not Covered by Warranty

Also note, everytime you use your insurance to fix a chip or even replace the glass, it shows up as a claim on your insurance. They will jack up your rates. I went max deductible on all my cars. Will only pay if I think it will cost >10k to repair. Never using insurance for windshield.

Windshield Crack - Not Covered by Warranty

You have a chip- who knows how "deep" the chip went. Its not the diameter, it's the depth. I've had a crack like that on my SUV...from a chip that expanded. Same issue with our Tesla. Had both windshields replaced. It's normal.

    Consumer Reports Reliabilty Rankings

Disastrous rating......Lucid should make sure Gravity is perfection! I'm still pissed about the stupid key issue.....why cut corners there?

    Lucid support in decline?

It's irrational to expect boutique like service as they expand and sell more cars. Expect service to fall in line with other manufacturers as Lucid establishes.

Collision. Bumper, left fender and AC compressor damage. Got $29k quote from Bed-red Auto in Bellevue.

Not justified, milking. They charge more than a doctor. We need more certified repair shops to bring in competition. Hopefully as midsize rolls out, this will happen. Lucid needs to take a look at this aspect as well.

Lucid vs Tesla self drive software

Exactly, think about this When Muck, I mean Musk announces Robotaxi is here, would you trust your life in his car or a Waymo. No need to get all technical….only Tesla fanboys will risk their life in a Robotaxi

Lucid CEO teases mid-size in development

Took my model S to Sedona, had SUV's overtaking me in the hilly corners, I had no confidence in the handling of the car...that was when I decided to dump it, also considering a steering wheel vibration in cold weather. But that handling disaster was the last straw. Worst car I ever bought. And...

    National EV charger network canceled

Only 35% remained by the end of Oct 2024. Most of it has been spent...this 35% left doesn't include loans, like the one given to Rivian or tax rebates. https://climateprogramportal.org/2024/10/25/what-climate-funding-remains-from-the-ira/

Will the Air ever be redesigned?

Time cycle will slowly get longer for all manufacturers. Expect minor improvements every 2-3 years. Auto is too competitive and margins are too low. I expect see more mergers and bankruptcies. Complete redesign times will stretch from 4 to 6-8 years.
