Fob question---why not just give the fob to the valet rather than the card?

WSJ's Dan Neil mentions this in his review of the Touring this weekend: "The Air has a few crazy-making qualities. The lustrous metallic toggles mid-dash, controlling temperature and fan speed, will blind you in bright sunlight." Except for a few other nits, he raved about the car.

I've not been locked in the car, but I find it responds much more consistently to the fob than it does to my phone (ie mobile key). if I approach with just the phone, more often than not the car does nothing until I push the handle in. (It usually responds when I'm carrying the fob too). And...

I wouldn't say "silent"--in the garage trying to experience Tidal Atmos, the fans at the lowest speed are intrusive Driving below 40+ MPH, the "turbo whine" is very apparent , and increases/decreases depending on speed (certainly not as pronounced as Cayenne twin turbo--with gear...

I'm probably the "average person" by your definition, and I have to say I'm underwhelmed by the premium audio. Certainly no better than my Cayenne compared side to side using same sources. But I agree it's subjective in the real world. BTW when listening critically, I find the fan noise...
