Anyone think of filing a complaint with NHTSA on these tires? There is definitely some design flaw if people are having to replace 4+ tires with less than 10k miles.

This has always been that way. I did the same once and get stuck at a changing light but to be fair the car does give you a warning before you do it that you need to be in park to change the profile. I was stuck for around 15 seconds with honking horns but I learned my lesson and wont do it again.

I also would have thought you could have made it to zero. On my Tesla I made it to zero more than once and even at zero it would let me go a bit more but it would limp there.

I don't think this is the case. If this were true there would not be several GT's available now for $138,000 with no Trial for those features. I would assume if there is no Trial Available that hardware is not in every vehicle.

You might be getting a vehicle that someone else ordered but backed out of so the hardware is probably in the vehicle. They are probably offering you the Trial to try to get you to like the feature enough to pay for it.
