I changed my order just last week, which normally would cause a delay when it is this close. My DA Eugene put in a good effort and snagged a cancelled GT that was exactly what I was looking for. He said I would have my VIN in a day or so and the car is going to go to Chicago, then Houston...

That is quite a lag between VIN and delivery...

It looks a lot less full than last picture? It is sort of good to see these pictures. The parking lot though is just a buffer between completion and shipping. If shipping was faster, the lot would be a lot emptier, but if this lot went empty, I would imagine another product delay.

I think you would have if it had been a couple months back. I don't think it will help now. :)

I am guessing they got the last reds assigned, and we see nothing but greys until the greys are caught up. They had slowed VIN assignments for the last week and I bet it picks up now unless they have problems with the paint.

Well it looks like I am the only Jan 5 Order that is not Grey or Silver or 20" wheels not to have a VIN. It looks to me that VIN assignments are slowed down this week? I am puzzled that me DA had such a specific date on May 20 for my VIN (red, Santa Cruz, 21") that is so out of wack with all...

Yeah, I get it. It seems like I should be up to bat. I have lost confidence in my DA, so I am just trying to chill (Not my usual style). Perhaps he will get around to sending me the "Gift" he promised a couple of weeks ago. I can always use a cheap pencil. :)

I would love that. Eugene had said my VIN would not be assigned until 5/20. I wonder though how cancellations play part in this?

If they are complete, the VINs have already been assigned, and I assume they are finished, they are waiting for transport. Hopefully the lot stays filled because they are making them as fast as they can ship them, and not that they can't ship because the delivery centers are swamped. A quick...

Steve, this whole thread is in the context of this tracker. A better sample size would be better, but this is what we got. Making sense of it is iffy with a just over 100 sample, but if we see large gaps, we have enough to suggest that deliveries are slowed down for whatever reason, so not a...

This based on our tracker. We all know that Lucid is tight-lipped about any real production figures.

I am basing it on the tracker. Lucid is not publishing numbers and even on the investor's call was quite vague.

I wish I had an idea of how many GTs were ordered. We may not have enough folks in the tracker to guesstimate their production. The gave 9 VINS in February , 26 VINS in March , and so far 14 VINS in April. It has been 5 or 6 days since a VIN was issued, so I think we are due for another 6-8...

To tell the truth, I am not versed on everything that is in the plan. A lousy 7.5 k is not enough to sway me if I see merit in the plan. I just don't know enough about where they left it... Still it seems as if it is dead.

As a retiree, I can adjust my income up and down by choosing what stocks to sell and short vs long term gains, but I was unaware of a 55k cap. It is interesting that the article did not mention that. In fact the chart showed the Lucid GT and Dream as eligible, but that may be based on the...

An article from a couple days ago... It says that Lucid is elible for the 7,500 rebate, but if BBB passed, it would be 12,500. https://electrek.co/2022/04/15/which-electric-vehicles-still-qualify-for-us-federal-tax-credit/
